Matchmaking is the only real fix for the M+ problem

Who is Erevien by the way? And why is he such a famous troll?

May I suggest Vawek? They’re about as close as it’s gonna get to another Zeno except with the addition of a God complex.

he is still here, he is on the US forums posting as we speak

the Americans seem to be sick of him too haha

if only casual players coudl do the same in like +5

but no - its only privilege to tryhards.

Shhh we are pretending he is on break, as not to incur his wrath.

His Midnight meltdown will be a thing to remeber though.

Yep accomplishing things is the privilege of those who actually try.

He is a blood elve ultra.

He is super pro horde and blood elves and constantly crys how the game is full of alliance bias and the writers hate the horde.

He hates all the character we have now and for example actively demands bain to be killed of but when something like that happens it’s again alliance bias.

He twists and turns his words and he never really makes sense

On a 5 you pull the boss again and still time the key. You only wasted your +2 upgrade. Now it is only +1…

Allthough i would be fine when resilient keys worked for all keylevels. I do not see any negative in that. But the value of resilient keys are on the higher keys.

Well after Amani trolls, vulepara, undead, orcs… But goblins are his second favorite for sure.

Where the figures for non-rated PvP? Without that, your figures are worthless.

if you’re wiping on a 5, i don’t think resilient is going to make much of a difference lol.

That said, i think most people can agree that a delve style key system would be 9236478236582756287 times better. “Homework” keys are lame and bad design.

Just let people rerun any key at any level.

If some ape tank dies first pull on your 10 and leaves, just get a new tank and go again.

I have been one of the biggest crybabies about depletion ever. I hate on it all the time.

It isn’t a privilege. Think of all the keys I helped people push to get here, all the keys that were broken along the way and all the people who helped me.

It also isn’t as useful to the person who has it. I had already timed Workshop +12 with a different group.

Doubtful. Keys do have a purpose, they can distribute the players to certain dungeons and to certain levels even. Remove keys like they currently exist, and you will have another challenge to solve; how to direct tanks/healers towards dungeons they don’t need for loot and already have done once before for the score? Or to the ones which are slightly more challenging than the others?

It never is as simple as it seems.

Nothing would change, 7s easiest for end of dungeon hero gear/crests. 10 for vault. There’s no less incentive to do other keys. It’s exactly the same. IE we won’t do low keys lol. We wouldn’t do them under any system.

For us healers and tanks, this system ALREADY exists. I can join any key within standard level range/instant invite and if it depletes i can instantly go to a new one. Think about it.

The main people who would benefit are dps players. Now we can take the risk to invite a sub par ilvl/rio

Hehe, wishful thinking at its finest form. No. People just do more of the quickest/easiest/best-reward dungeon, and still be picky as nobody likes to struggle in a dungeon they have cleared 100 times before without issues.

It won’t solve anything, while introducing new potential issues.

Just add charges to the keys, basta, done, 5m work without too many downsides.

I disagree. The only “issue” that would occur is having the practice pulls. If you even care about it. Give other realistic issues?

No one posts “omg this delve level system is a nightmare” because it’s ridiculous to claim it

Yes. 100% on board with this.

But I want to keep the resilient keys for 12+ and higher. I want both.

I often face groups who do a dungeon because it’s just a key they have, not a key they need. So they invite two players to fill the group and go for it. Those runs would seize to exist, immediately.

That’s just one example. In simple terms; quite some players would no longer need to run dungeons they don’t strictly need. Ergo, some dungeons or levels would face wild shortages while other dungeons would be wildly popular. Not a great path forward.

And the Delve system works for Delves, sure. I don’t think anyone denies that. That doesn’t mean that it would work equally well for M+. And don’t forget that the rewards or Delves are limited in two ways:

  • Bountiful (Delve needs to be one)
  • Keys (you need to have it, and they are limited)
  • 1 Hero piece per week

Now think about M+ again … if you can endlessly run the same dungeon on a specific level, the rewards will be adjusted accordingly. Don’t ask for it, just don’t.

Agreed. This is an issue. But removing depletion IMO is not the best solution.

It is a known fact that M+ has had a funky reward structure for ages now. In part because of raiders and their whining. But im not going to discuss that here at this time.

Point is: Mangiola is right. Depletion serves a purpose which is beneficial for the game.

But if you pair it up with an outdated reward structure it’s when you see the problems you point out.

Sure, both works. And practice the same dungeon more, and not drop below a certain level.

I still want the resilient keys to change towards a system where the key won’t drop below [cleared level]+1. Currently the use is a bit “meh”. But well.
