It’s a loop. We go from “MMR will measure player skill”->“How do you measure player skill”->“Well we can’t measure player skill so we will nerf the dungeons”->“But that will ruin M+”->“MMR will measure player skill so we don’t have to ruin M+”.
And occasionally we get Lilith with “Why can’t casuals enjoy a +99” + “In legion remix god will personally come down and shake my hand”.
Out of curiosity, but how does a spectating mode relate to a queue system?
I remember a spectator mode for WoW was being discussed and proposed as far back as Cataclysm and Blizzard sort of waved it off then, and then it sort of faded away as streaming channels became increasingly popular.
Ok I guess I do need to explain this. I want Spectate mode to be added to soloQ (if it ever gets added), because most of those runs will be train wrecks, hence entertaining/funny. No one on Twitch intentionally streams their clown fiesta runs, soloQ on the other hand… endless entertainment.
I mean in MOTHELOAD I had a priest fear the bombs you need to kick into the boss. Did you even know that could happen? Do you know how funny it was seeing people trying to catch and kick feared balls XD.
I’m not. But SoloQ will be more concistent in that.
You could simply tell him/her what to do, instead of laughing. People are learning, some did not play BFA, or did you do +18? Then it would be funny, otherwise? Help instead of looking down at people
We know that will not be the case though, as already demonstrated by everyone in this topic that is pro solo queue. They see that it will be flawed without incentives for tanks/healers and high rio players to carry it. So they say Blizz will fix with incentives. Or nerf content so it is easier. Or both. Cause «everyone» should be able to complete a +10 without issue cause thats where highest reward is. But at same time no one is crying for a queue for heroic raids or mythic raids
Even my foggy brain remembers back in Cataclysm that the request for a spectator mode was driven by a desire from – on the one hand – raid teams wanting to include the people they had on the bench in the strategy and the boss pulls, and – on the other hand – having the ability to properly coach and teach people strategies in Arenas.
