Can you imagine on a solo queue system, one poor DPS waiting an hour to get into a key, for some other DPS in the same group to say “that’s it, keys dead” and leaves on a mistake on the first trash pool.

it would be quite funny if they got a dungeon deserter thing tho.

Never happens in LFG

LFG what? Raid?

If it’s LFG Raid, there’s 20 people and if someone leaves, it doesn’t matter, cause its that easy and there’s 20 people, plus they can be replaced.

Would be interesting if the solo queue system would actually allow replacement, because you can’t do this in M+.

That kind of happened to me yesterday.

Mage died in giga pull at start of Floodgate +13. After everything was dead they said “gg” and “no one interrupted”. Then was (I presume) rage typing while in the explosive circle, it went off, they died then left the key.

A few other similar things happened but that was probably the worst.

Yeah well… ive had a streak of really sucky tanks this week… im gonna take a break untill next reset.

Cant deal with dumb tanks anymore… :frowning:

I need to find myself a tank… I need to go back to what I had in DF… I miss it:

It’s so odd, as a dps do they think they will instantly get into another 13? I would imagine it’s hyper competitive at that level?

I was dumb tank at the weekend. I did about 10 of both ToP +13 and FL +13. I felt like I was losing my mind. Just doing the same thing over and over hoping for a run where none of us make a mistake. Not all the failures were my fault but some were.

I wasn’t checking what the group leaders were doing, so I’m not sure. I did end up playing with the same Hunter twice in a row.

Regarding the Mage, I didn’t look them up but +13 will have a mix of pushers and people trying to get 3k. I can’t imagine Flood is popular with people who are just trying to get 3k. If it starts bad, it usually doesn’t get better.

In one run I accidentally pulled the 4 drones on the bridge at the start and I knew immediately it was over.

Honestly? I did a few runs over the weekend with a fried who is learning to tank, I was pinging him the packs he needed to pull so so the roith was ok. The problem was he occassionally pulled extra due to not paying attention to patrols or kiting into other packs, also some boss placements were questinable. Anyway we did time all the keys we tried, even managed to get a few 10s in. However the amounyh of toxicity I saw in those runs was stupid. People kept flaming him, even after I told them he was new.

Well, to be honest 10s are not such a big deal. Especially now with all the extra ilvls. I am not sure what those people were expecting…

Either way. Flaming people in keys is a big nono. I hope you kicked out those idiots.

I was forced to flame the tank ONCE this week.
It was a DFC +15. The tank’s route was to skip 1 pack with invi-pot before the 1st boss. An compensate the count with more snake-things before the last boss.

Me and my buddies have DFC15 on farm. We wanted a +16 to that we could try.

And of course… 1st packs 3 DDs were doing 22M dps and stuff like that… Packs melted.

Fact is that the ret used pot by mistake. The tank decided to sit there and argue that we would not time it. We told him to simply pull it. That we would time the key even with 110% count. But if he was worried about that he could pull fewer snakes at the end…

After 1 min of arguing, the DK gripped 1 mini-add from that pack so we could move on to the boss with out pulling the big kobold.

The tank decided to let us die… Then demanded to do it on +14.

All i told him is: “you are going straight to the ignore list. Good bie”.

I mean… Its a +15 please… Its not a +10. People do mistakes and keys are depleted. Thats is no problem for me. But I expect certain quality on a +15…

I mean sure, I would argue that certain quality is expected even in 12s. But blowing up in +10s and under even when we have plenty of time to time it… Like who cares? It was our keys and I did say “tank is new” before we started the runs, repeated it multiple times during the runs when people started complaining. Also thesecwere not spectacular players either, ranged from 2600-2900 and they were getting carried same as the tank, so idk what the problem was.

That you did not whisper me. That was your issue…:rofl:

I would have had a blast. Plus i need crests.

Personally I am not skilled enough to go beyond 10s - they need a bit more thought on flow and route and feel more important to not risk wasting peoples time.

Some people hate seeing people try to improve. Being a tank massively impoves your situation. Even if you aren’t good you’ll get tons of invites into keys at your score level and even above.

Some people hate seeing people try to improve and saying “I’m new” paints a target on you for those types of people.

Saying “I’m new to X” or “someone is new”, has generally been a possitive experience for me. I’m usually met with people going “sure np” and trying to give advise during the run.

Maybe just bad luck. When I was new to tanking I just didn’t tell anyone.

I did some abysmal plays in my drive to 3k and I couldn’t believe people weren’t hating. I’m always surprised when people say they see tons of toxicity.

What they need to do before looking at solo queue is to remove the death affix - it’s complete BS. Deaths will happen in keys and it’s only there to make you feel bad and waste your time.

I can git gud and try and die less, but if my teammates are dying all around me, due to their own mistakes, or just stupid one-shot mechs, you end up with a depletion. This just makes M+ bad content.

There definitely needs to be matchmaking for a certain range of keys at least. Else nobody is gonna get their foot into the door of playing any content. “Make your own key” doesn’t work, if nobody’s playing at the key you have
