I did a rookery 8 and the whole group just ignored the big mobs before the last boss (who become ghosts) and they just wiped several times and I was having to finish them off on my VDH. We miss timed the key by 2 mins.
You’re also at the mercy of people who can DPS the boss or the fight takes forever and uses up too much time.
According to my friends, 12s and 13s are actually easier than 8, 9 and 10.
Alts are really hard to take through 2, 3 and 4s now there isn’t even much point. Feels similar to S1, but pugs have just gotten worse later in the cycle instead
Sadly m+ these days seems to be “get to 10s week 1 if you want a fun time”. You used to be able to take your time in low keys, that’s dead now.
I don’t play in full premades, the only thing I do is play with husband (I don’t talk during play, we play in different rooms, I don’t need to know when tank buster comes or the damage lol) but not all my keys are with him though. Sometimes it’s full pugs. I also play hpriest that require performing well.
Who knows, maybe I’m carried, maybe I’m not. I would be up for solo q to test my grounds any time. If you are against it, you are probably bad
I’m doing pretty often. But solo q would be better, with the different score for everyone. But we are going back to the loop and I have no time for it as I’m not paid to defend blizzard inactivity and laziness on the forums.
I don’t think WotLK was overrated. It was very good for its time amd I jad a lot of fun playing it, however gaming moved on. When I played WotLK classic I was bored out of my skull. Comparing WotLK to modern WoW is like comparing Super Mario Bros 2 to Witcher 3.
The Van Halen analogy was just to illustrate everything is easier if you aren’t alone.
It goes for absolutely everything in life. It’s easier if you know someone who can help you. Look at how many of Underpin’s Well-Connected Friend’s friends show up to die with him.
Can’t you team up with your friends who are doing +13?
Yeah but won’t their score/MMR work simmilarly to how the regular one does? Or are we still pretending that somehow the computer will have context for pulls, intereputs, deffensives, DPS/HPS etc?
In every guild it looks identical - there are Tiny exclusive mini groups of pushers who only Play with each other and the rest who are usualy met with dead silence when they Ask if anyone wants to join their keys .
Its been like this since implementation of m+ so eventually most just given up on guilds and 100 % pug
Not every guild is like that. My guild is just me and an IRL pal who doesn’t do endgame.
Besides, we were talking about friends, we weren’t talking about guilds. I’d help my friend (who is also in my guild) do their key if they wanted and I’d invite them to mine.
My guild before the pandemic literally killed it was a nice band of people.
Sure we had m+ pushers but they where always down to help with lower keys and get people up so no not every guild is the same
Hilarious take. Maybe ask yourself why it’s like that in YOUR experience
I always post my keys in the guild and ask if someone wants to join for a fast weekly key.
During Dragonflight S3 i helped the few semi high pushers that my guild has timing their +25 and +26 because they asked in the guild chat.
Maybe you shouldnt project your experiences onto others. Maybe (pretty sure) you are the minority with your experience.
It is really difficult to invite a 6th person in 5 player content. When people are in a dungeon they can not just stop playing and invite that 6th player.
My experience is people definitely want to play with others too. But not when they are already in content.
Its funny because now is the perfect time to test the soloQ theory. A lot of 3k+ players are signing up to low keys for crests. List a key and take the first 4 that meet the role requirements.
Still won’t do even that.
