Matchmaking is the only real fix for the M+ problem

All the benefits of a SoloQ… tanks and healers already have them. And MORE. Much more. This SoloQ “other option” gives us less advantages. And less chances for success.

Why should they join SoloQ then?

Allow me to answer in Vinscents place.

But think of the community bruh! U big evil elitist!

You are NOT locked out.
You have your key, you can play it whenever you want.
Yes, you may have to wait for tanks and heal, but unless you are looking for meta only, you will find both.

You know people play alts right? A lot of dps plays tank/healer alts, and tanks/healer play dps. Solo queue is a simple way for everyone who wants to use it.

You are too narrow minded and obsessed to understand wow player base…

Just don’t use it and leave others in peace :joy:

I’m not against it I would just have no reason to use it. Absolutely no one who already tanks or heals would have a reason to use it.

The entire issue is not enough tanks and healers. If I’m trying join a key as Feral and no one invites me what will the better option be?

  1. Cry on the forums for 10+ years
  2. Respec to Resto or Guardian

So you are telling me, there would be system where people can go automatically in and enjoy absolute anonymity and the wildest unhinged behaviour which, if you are clever, can be done without any reprecussions at all, against new healers and tanks?

Well, I am looking forward to how this plays out.

That’s a horrible comparison. Where is the lfg option for lfr?
It doesn’t exist, that’s where.

And thats your argument? That they will forgo all the LFG benefits in favor of soloQ because its an alt?
Healers and tanks have easier time to get into dungeons regardless if its a main, alt, 2nd account…whatever.
Nothing changes when I signup on LFG on my tank or healer regardless if its an alt or my main raiding toon.

Do whatever you like. It’s none of my business.

So, again, the queue doesn’t affect you because you don’t use it.

What’s the point keep arguing irrelevant thing?

Your whole point is that “I don’t think anybody will use it, so I don’t want it in game”.

It is clear and there is no need to repeat it again and again.

And Blizzard needs to waste manpower and resources introducing a system which fixes nothing and changes nothing just to soothe your ego?

Yeah…compelling argument indeed.

Repeat? I didn’t say even once I don’t want it to be in the game. It will just be a waste of resources.

It’s like trying to make a saltwater store in the ocean. Everyone in the ocean is already getting saltwater for free. You can waste time and money and even offer free delivery, no one in the ocean will buy saltwater.

You can say “Nah tho they will” as much as you like.

That is normal/heroic/mythic, which needs a premade group and offers even higher loot.

In those people’s logic, there will absolutely no tanks or healers queuing LFR, because the loot is trash (lower than normal/heroic/mythic) and dps can never find a LFR group. :joy:

As funny as it may sound. I actually believe they will…
or will come up with other ideas to claim that “their shop salt is better” so people will flock to it en-masse.

Your entire fear hinges on a bunch of what ifs that don’t hold up. What if there’s 3 hunters? What if there’s 3 DPS who actually know what they’re doing? Comp doesn’t matter nearly as much as skill does…

What stops a 3000 “mmr” player from joining a +10 to farm vault. What. That player can ONLY play high keys now?

And you did not answer my question. Because in your new system there will STILL be 50 DDs waiting for every healer and tank.

And because we wont be playing with a 3000 rio player, and instead with a much lower quality “alt” then we will fail more often. Or WORSE, be put in a party with 3 hunters or something like that.

at 3000 MMR they likely won’t ruin your key, not saying it cant happen, it doesnt factor in everything else. they already earned the right to play any key they want. That’s how a merit based system works.

The healer shortage is not caused by matchmaking

It seems like you are afraid of losing your power to reject people.

I am more worried about the waste of resources that comes after the implementation of a solo queue.
The waste when they realize queues aren’t popping for dps so they install ridiculous rewards to try and incentivize healers and tanks to join.
The waste when they realize it’s not working, barely any keys are being finished, people are leaving left right and center.
The waste when they decide m+ must be made easier to counter that, leading to solo queue m+ (and therefore our m+ as well) becoming heroic Dungeons remastered.

No it’s not? Are normal/hc/mythic on the same level? No. Therefore they are not comparable.
You can make that comparison when an lfg option for lfr exists. Since it doesn’t, you can’t.

I know. And a naked Healer/Tank alt with 0 rio posts his key and gets 3 gigachad DDs that carry him. He chooses who to go with.

Because healers and tanks are in such high demand that people prefer to literally go with anyone.

Again… even alts have better deal now than with a soloQ.

Are M+2 and M+12 on the same level?

No, so you don’t need form a fotm premade to do M+2 everytime. And solo queue is a simple solution for people who wants to use it.

You dont get invited because you dont have the skill to get higher rio. You dont get more rio, you dont get invited. Because there are tons of DDs with better rio than you.

Its not being invited with 3 hunters. Its being invited with 3 of you. Basically.

No the other way arround. Matchmaking problems are caused by healer shortage.

And im not afraid of loosing power to reject people. I am afraid of wasting my gaming time with people that will guarantee a deplete. Because I have done the experiment of picking random people for my key. That never ends well.

Read this:

That is what I dont want. And I want the power to choose for that not to happen. Because its literally an insult for my efforts basically.
