Matchmaking is the only real fix for the M+ problem

The big question in that whole soloq m+ thing is why should any healer or tank use it?

Like we don’t have enough of them anyway and they basically get insta invites to most keys. Why should they use a system where they have no control over how there group is structured and by that no way to control if that key will even be finished.

Like seriously give me a reason why any tank or heal should use that. If you don’t throw myth track gear at them they will certainly stick to premade groups

Yea! Bliz hard to bribe M+ players to do delves with some extra free crests, delves must really be a failure for bliz :frowning:

ah well …

Where do i get this? I need it on my alts!

People do progress to +10s though, the problem is in the process they do a +2-5 key once and then never do any again.

M+ is doing fine at hero track and +10s, champ track was just made completely pointless because of delves.

It’s a one time thing, you get a cracked keystone when you do an 11 delve, the quest is to finish a key. You get 15 gilded crests for it.

Meh, might do it on my monk since she needs guilded crests. My stinky alts probably can’t even do a t11 delve :joy:

And that’s exactly why we need matchmaking. Matchmaking puts these players in their proper bracket.

Matchmaking puts this tank in a 2, is he really going to have any better of a time?

Rotation is simple, try minmaxing it to a point where you actually purple parse in mythic raids. I’m currently in mage prison and I miss my havoc and ww…

Nobody is arguing that. Yes, soloq makes m+ more accessible, but at what cost? It would be a clownfiesta even worse than iron 4 in league of legends. And quality > quantity. If I want to play a bad game, I would go back to high elo league of legends.

Idk our mages have been memeing the spec for a while.

Looking at a recent log neither of them cast a spell besides their opening scorch until over a minute, then 7~ seconds of fireballs followed by another minute of instants. 90% of their total casts were instant across the full 5 minutes.

oh yes, the perma Instant casts are meme worthy. But I have such a hard time to perform compared to my time as a ww (NP) or havoc (amirdrassil). Sometimes it really feels like I’m dragging my raid down.

Factually wrong. 53.8% of all player that have done a key this season timed all Dungeons on +6.
So +3 is definitely not a hard challenge for the majority as you claim it to be.
Are there players +3 is a challenge for? Definitely.
But it is not the majority as you falsely claim.

You can check stuff like this ?:stuck_out_tongue: never knew , se

Yeah and 100 % of bodies on mount Everest were once upon a time very motivated people

Statistics is fun cause you can twist it however you want

Lets not include milions of players WHO were in Old 2-9 keys and now clealry completly quit m+

You can always invite 4 peopel and key them carry you in t11 - then carry you in +2

I think there is a hidden modifier related to ilevel. You can also check what DR your armour gives against other players.

It wasn’t as bad as I thought though, My BDK at 612 only had 2% less DR in a +2.

Provide your sources for that please. You are making baseless claims and are gunning down actual data because you don’t like what it tells us.

But as usual we can’t expect much more from you.

Are you just hitting the boss or doing mechanics? Are you getting PI? Do you have all the external buffs? Are standing near an augvoker?

This is not a dis on you by any means. Its just a point to show, that raid parces are influenced by a lot of external factors than your rotation.

All valid questions.
A mix of both. On sprocketmonger I usually play the 3rd set of mines, when I‘m in the middle of my combustion / hyperthermia.
Usually I get the PI. Not sure if that’s the best play, because it’s an annoying topic.
Yes, we have all raidbuffs.
Gladly we don’t have an Aug

Maybe mage just isn’t for me.
