so to be able to upgrade pvp conquest gear to max ilevel (226) you have to be 2100 raiting. They removed the value of any raiting above 2100.
2400 is no longer a milestone for gear.
Anyone can get 2100 raiting a few weeks in, its such a joke raiting.
So what will now seperate a 2100 player and a 2600 rated player? Nothing? The skill difference is huge between these raiting and no gearing benefit for beeing higher than 2100??
Everyone get same conquest amount and 2100 unlock max upgrade level?!?! Did you smoke something before putting together this system?
SL looked amazing but this ruined all. You will get 2100 during first 1-2 weeks and then there is nothing more to gain.
Very awful system, there should be gear milestone for 2400 and 2700 so more people keep pushing and this season will be super inflated just like last season bfa, and 2100 means nothing.
Edit: nvm forgot what kind of people hang around these forums: people who spend more time here than in game and are hardstuck at 1600

are you drunk? it’d be even better if 1,4k rated players would have the same gear as 3k rated players like it used to be when this game was at its peak

2k is still for a lot of people almost unachievable.
Remember there is a lot of people including myself not playing 8hours per day.
I personally think only skill should matter in pvp so to me it’s fine, atleast when fully geared you can try to improve and not fight endlessly vs a wall at high rating.

Go and write on the PvE forum instead that LFR should give same reward as Mythic raiding since skill should not give higher ilevel. The PVP forum dont need your kind

I also mentioned that.
Higher raiting should give more conquest aswell.
only this, no one really cares about what gear people wear.

Because PvP gearing needs to be a viable option for the majority of the pvp playerbase otherwise arena will just die (it actually is already). Would you be happy about being the best mage in a game mode which nobody plays and nobody cares about?

So many clueless on these forums.
More conquest= more gear = higher raiting get better/faster gear than lower raiting.
So by saying that higher raiting should give more conquest, you might aswell say higher raiting should give higher ilevel.
Either you agree or disagree that higher raiting should give faster/better gear or you don’t.
This can be achieved by more conquest OR that you can upgrade your gear higher.
I don’t care about that honestly rn after the conquest cap but just to say:
2400 should give 2-3 tokens which allow you to upgrade gear to 233. Instead cap the 233 items you can wear so it stays equal for everyone.

honestly i dont need more ilvl to dumpster on some nerd that is already below me, skill wise. I’d be fine with just being able to play PvP and get my gear by just doing so

But why do you want more conquest if you are higher rated? The gear you buy with conquest is higher ilevel than what you have right now.
So by you saying you want more conquest with higher raiting, you will also get higher ilevel than other who dont have as high raiting?
Im pretty sure OP would enjoy being the best and last mage

I don’t agree - gear in PvP should be equal. There should be a progression but rating gated gear isn’t that good imo. Why? Because then there are excuses. If everyone has the same gear only the best players are really high, high rated. Cap should increase with rating 100% so better players are geared faster as a reward for being better.

If gear should be equal in PVP, they could remove gear all together. They tried that in Legion and removed it for a reason
To be honest I hate only the fact that decent pvers are going to be able to achieve 2.1 and get their gear easily.
I would like to have max gear on 2.4 aswell, just to make that gear “special” in both pvp and pve enviroment. Or atleast weekly cap increase as you guys mentioned to give pvpers advantage over the pvers atleast in pvp gearing.

Well it was good in legion u could hit max level and be 2.4 in 2 days of playing without many upgrades but it took away the options because u had fixed stats that was the only bad thing
If we had access to all items builds spells in PvP and could play around - I think people would actually like it. But being stuck with 0 customization was the problem in legion imho.

No.
PVP should place everyone on equal ground, so that merit is earned through skill, not gear. That is the basis of any competitive sport.
Additionally, 2.1k is already gating gear significantly for the majority of the PVP community. It should be much lower if anything.
If you feel you need to gain an advantage over 99% of players in order to feel happy you should reconsider what makes you happy in life.
