Max ilevel from pvp at only 2100 raiting?!?

Imo higher rating should just give you more conquest cap and gear shouldn’t be behind rating except for cosmetics.

I think its a good thing they have lowered the requirement, the only downside is mythic raiding last 2 bosses still gives a couple of items that are above everything else for people.

When the requirement is 2400 everyone’s complaining that it’s too high and too much effort compared to what PvE’ers have to do, in order to get the same ilvl and when they lower it, everyone’s complaining that they won’t be a special snowflake anymore because they won’t have an advantage over duelist players.

This is what you sound like btw:
THIS RUINED ALL. GAME IS SHEIT NOW. I WANT TO DIE. OMG BLIZZ HURT MY FEELINGS WITH THIS. HOW WILL I EVER BE ABLE TO FEEL ANYTHING AGAIN. I HATE MY LIFE AND I HATE ALL OF YOU. PLEASE DADDY COME BACK HOME. I PROMISE I’LL BE A GOOD BOI.

Huuh if you mean WotlK, you needed to be 1750 for some Wrath pieces.
There WAS a difference.

cata til wod

Can’t say, didn’t experience lol.
I see.

I really don’t see what the issue is. 2.1k rating isn’t easy to reach for the majority of players. Sure, it’s easy if you’re a skilled PvP veteran, but I seriously doubt that many people who aim for gladiator or r1 care about stuff like this. I know I wouldn’t if I was at that skill level.

I agree with Julius. I think it’d be better if the rating requirement for the top gear was even lower. 1.8k would be more reasonable imo.

Just my two cents.

The only real reason it was hated was because the templates were not adjustable. If they were then the amount of complaints would have been minimal.

Just scrap the upgrades. Higher rating = more conquest per week = faster gear. Simple. All that upgrade stuff is just a nonsensual time-gate and an attempt to make it equal to PvE. PvE has too many different ilvls going on and now PvP suffers from it. Great design.

I agree slightly… BUT… the upgrading makes BG’s relevant again.

And it’s not even equal to PvE ironically. For most people It’ll likely be far easier to pug the first half of mythic CN than to reach 2.1k rating.

Literally no one in this thread actually agrees with you.
Shouldn’t this tell you something?

So it matches with mythic raiding.

But they could implement a small upgrade to 233 for some slots with 2.6 or 2.7 to simulate the last two bosses of mythic raid.

My thoughts about you. In PvP only skill should matter, not gear. As real PvPer you would agree with that.

Yh we don’t need you. Begone.

2.1K is fine. PvP above that level should be differentiated by skill, not ilvl.

Dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb thread

I see zero problem here. If anything this is great for pvp. The very good players will always rise to the top regardless and it will hopefully get others interested in pvp a bit more.

If 2100 is so ez ( which is not ) it doesn’t matter, because a 2600 player has better skills?

Without warforging, corruptions, Inane PvE trinkets etc., at a certain level everyone will be equal gear-wise and only skills will determine how high you get.

Isn’t that what PvPers were asking for?

2100 is fine, getting top gear from mythics is capped aswell. after gear comes competitive play. thats totally fine

If skill difference is so huge as you said then that skill difference will show itself when gears are equal or close.

In my opinion skill cap is not so much between a duelist and glad, they like trashtalking to everyone below glad, this expansion they can prove that they deserve their position at last, that is the reward.

2100 is the perfect point to equalize gear, this is what I was asking for, I kept saying 2100 is more difficult than mythic +15, why it rewards so low compared to it and here we are.

Congratulations on this one, all they need to do is nerfing extremely absurd damaging classes with too many survival abilities like Sub Rogue and adjusting item prices a little bit, especially weapon. They already removed weapon achievement requirement to buy it.

there are miles between 2100 and 2400 players and even more between 2400 and 2700 players and so on depending on seasons ofc. but generally, 300 rating difference is huge especially on higher brackets.

I said skillwise, making less mistakes is about experience not skill. If I play 2000 arena games I won’t stay a duelist for sure.

As I’ve said they have been extremely arrogant about their ratings, they can prove that they are better now for real.
