That is what you got wrong here. ALL the posts above, and YOUR argument, are based on “personal circumstances and anecdotal evidence”. So its THEIR word against mine.
NONE of them show hard data: Completed vs. Incomplete dungeons. And full disclosure, only Blizz has that data. Nobody else.
The ONLY dude I can more or less take seriously in this conversation is OneAzerothTV. That guy exclusively Pugs. AND keeps a record of ALL his runs. So even though his opinion is also “anecdotal” he has the numbers written down of how many disbands, now many untimed and timed keys he did.
Everyone else, including YOU and the posts above… are just that… single anecdotes. 1 time someone left a key. You got salty about it and came to the forums. Forgetting (or failing to mention) that the last X keys you did nobody left.
I never claimed I was better.
All I claimed is that I don’t see these “leavers” as often as other people do. And I refuse to believe that I am “better” than everyone else. Because I am not.
What I can say is that the rare moment I did witness a leaver was when there was drama in the /party. Insults flying here and there… calling people names and stuff… So evidently, people want none of that and leave.
What I personally do is create an environment where calling people stuff is not appropriate. And it all starts by saying “hello” when you join a group. Asking people “how is your day” and a bit of small talk. And when people throw performance comments in the /party I tell them to stop and discuss this AFTER the dungeon.
When we kill a boss, I say “GJ wp”. When someone dies I shrug it off as “happy little accident”… things like that. And people enjoy the PuG group and leave satisfied. Completed or not.
And RIO has nothing to do with this. Its simply applying the same strategies you would use in the real world when you are invited to a party with strangers… Do some small talk, and avoid controversial conversations (politics and soccer). Literally THAT.
Does that make me special or an elitist jerk? NO. Why would it ?

I seriously just prefer a debate back and forth to somehow improve the idea and not just default to someone’s suggestion to the T. Some of these people have fair criticisms. Plus, I’ve only had leavers in dungeon finder so I really don’t understand the fight here.

I dont know how often it happens. But happend to me 3-4 times i think.
Like some leaves can be bit bs for sure.
For exampel did a mist 6 key. We wiped on 1st boss and 1 dps left and group dissbanded.
Did grim batol and we died a bit on a +4
Key like 2 weeks ago. We had 4 mins left on the last mob pull before the last boss. And the tank decided to alt 4 so group dissbanned XD yeah we would have made the time. But still loot and it was litterlary so close to the boss.
But should be some poll to see how many people have this kind of problems before such system could be or should be implented.

higher key untimed in early season is not really a failure. but if you consider it such you prove my point how elitist you are.

btw, something that went under most people’s radar - in previous thread when I merely pointed out he never reached the title and technically has the exact same M+ achieves that I do (as my response to him being “better” than me, well he is but it’s funny nyway)… he got that specific post mass flagged by his buds and removed by staff XDDD

Somebody disagreeing with you IS NOT being disrespectful. Its the forums for petty sake. An exchange of opinions. Not your personal Facebook diary where only “yes-mans” allowed. I had people disagreeing with me all the time on forums that doesn’t mean that they are against me, have a personal vendetta against me and etc.
So unless you can directly quote in this thread where Uda had called you names or was outright toxic towards you. So far his only “crime” was that he dared to disagree with you.
