Overall, it’s doesn’t make any difference to me now. I was blocked from the game it was hacked. i really don’t know what this is.
there are no pugs clearing naxx lol, but you choose to join bad groups taking over an hour to clear
For me it was no different than running it with my guild as I currently play in a more casual guild so wipes and such happen from time to time I’m used to it. I never had a BWL fall apart mid raid on any character, most SR’s are on the later bosses for most classes so most have incentive to stay.
Thing is once I joined a PuG run and it ends up being well lead and the raid leader takes time to select players that are geared, know tactics and show with WB/consumables then I would try to get a permanent weekly spot in that run after proving myself.
So yeah, I’d say it was fun otherwise I wouldn’t have bothered doing it plus it doesn’t sting as much losing an item to a random pug compared to an underperforming and unprepared guildie because if you are underperforming in a pug you won’t get invited back whereas guilds have to take anyone they can get to fill numbers.

Even funnier saying “lmao skill issue” to someone for joining the wrong pug without saying how to ALWAYS find the pugs that arent wiping is also very funny. are you just ragebaiting or is this your real thoughtprocess?

im happy for you, i wish i could enjoy the game casually. but i enjoy fast and efficient raids. Also im raiding naxx atleast once a week. and you cannot tell me people are really TRYING in a pug, theres atleast 10 people in 90% of the pugs who underperform in every raid. As long as you are doing the bare minimum and dont wipe the raid youre back next week.
I’m in a casual guild but I’m anything but casual ha. I also enjoy fast and efficient raids which is exactly why I try to get a permanent spot once I find a good PuG which I’ll admit took some time to find but now I’m part of a weekly pug for AQ40/BWL and if you don’t perform or wipe the raid you lose your SR so that kind of sorts out that problem.
I haven’t bothered trying Naxx in a PuG because it’s so unforgiving but I’m fine with doing Naxx on my main and AQ40/BWL on my alts will keep me occupied till TBC drops.
i guess u are new to wow, but by definition it’s not a pug if it is planned days in advance

People still buy items with gold, the loot is HRd and then sold privately.
But yea the GDKP ban to curb RMT was a great success – consumes are affordable and boosting is definitely not insanely out of control.
non gdkp pugs are amazing. Clearing half of naxx in 4 hours and then losing an item because its HR to get sold anyway or SR and it goes to some ultra passenger who clicks his abilities. Dont even get gold for the carry service! AMAZING!

u are just salty over not getting boosted anymore, lol. in grp with no subnormal people naxx is ~1h, basically only need 1 of every consume + MRP/mana pots depending on class

regular 99s in a game version you couldnt even clear on normal because one boss has more mechanics than a whole raid in vanilla

ur parses were about ur mop char were they not? in classic u play priest/war/shaman or get carried, if u play rogue in classic u are automatically carried. only exception was basically if u did petri pull in aq40 speedruns.
Discord made pugs dead on arrival of classic 2019. only on retail will u find pugs and they only clear heroic. Every trade chat pug ive been in has been the 2h mc garbage
Well blizz just gonna force GDKP comunity to Discord chats,tho thats 2 many hustle. Ial wont raid w/o gdkp, maybe will join few swipe raids for few items that i rly need for arena.
What? Rogue isnt a meme class in vanilla like boomie or SP. Also just getting out metad by a warrior isnt really getting carried. Mechanics matter if they exist and preparation of course.
And i have more than once outdamaged “meta classes” in raid tiers where i really shouldnt..
Of course in the top level you wont even see a rogue in TBC.
Discord pug with random people is still a pug imo. Trade chat pugs always suck yes. Thats the 4h naxx non-clears and 2 hour mcs.

The decent “discord pugs” are more organized than most guilds, calling anything scheduled like that a pug renders the term meaningless

I lead a guild so I don’t have those issues. I talk to people, organise, and keep updated on game changes.
I’m also trying my best to be nice to everyone as fair as I can. I pugged rarely and when I did, it was SR/HR.
If I need the HR items I don’t join. If I don’t get my SR items I live with it because it doesn’t really matter that much. I play the game for fun not items.
If you’re so frustrated about an item, join a guild or start one, or start a HR pug raid yourself.
Yes it takes effort to achieve something in an MMO, social effort.
