Well, as I said earlier in the thread. Most of them are just… customizations.
In fact, at the top of my head, I think only Vulpera’s are unique…? Well, Nightborne are somewhat unique too.

I think Kul Tirans are pretty unique too. But sort of the wrong way.
/point at toy box.
You can easy earn some alliance exlusive toy and use it on horde side and the other way around…“unless” the toy is marked with “1 faction only”.
Tbh, its a wonder the bee mount is not useable on the horde side, once you have unlocked it.
Vulpera =/= Goblin.
Nightborne =/= Night Elf.
Hell, its kinda rare to see unique stuff nowdays…even in pandaira, the lizard are using the worgen female animations (when they are walking on all 4 legs), for not talking about the fish ppl are just night elfs XD.
Ironic that you said the above smh.
Almost like Warcraft was lacking on the fantasy side.
Its sad , because the bee mount is rep locked so the Alliance got +1 rep, and a title while questing in Drustvar, The Horde recolors are useable on Alliance, just dropped only for Horde .
BEFORE anyone comes at me I want Equality for both factions in WoW , I am so sick of the complaining
They are lacking in the animation side…
Just look at all the reskin mounts we have >.<.
Pig, direhorn and hippo say “hello” for instance
Census+ has been updated and reworked since that API update.
Ofc we all want equality for both side.
I do belive this is the first expansion where they kinda went over thier head with that tho.
Take the toy that drops from the exalted+ chest.
Volpera = Food toy, but, it works for any lvl, any faction, 10 min CD and are kinda good.
If thats not one of the most OP toys ingame atm, i dont even (sure those xmass toy seat that make you able to skip wall are OP aswell), still
All alliance get from the exalted+ chest (say proudmore) are something all player can even hear NOW if they wanted, simple by copy / pass this into thier game:
/script PlaySound(123684)
Well, you wouldn’t make a Goblin have Vulpera customization would you…?
To be fair, players had been begging for a kind of “sub-race” system for ages, asking to have playable Dark Irons/brown Orcs and whatnot, while some people think it’s lazy and would rather have 2 unique races, I think it’s nice that we have more options to play as now.
Mechagnomes are the reason i’ll be returning my focus to the Alliance after maining Horde in 8.2.5. I really like them and am happy to give them representation. I’ve got the rep ready, the rustbolt resistor mount and all of the mechagon mogs for weps etc. (as well as similar other mogs like the buzzing blade from ToC, techy weps from BRF SoO). Good to go and hell to the naysayers. Unlocking them and RCing some chars will be some of my first acts on Wednesday after work.
This is commonly overlooked. Even the Mag’har, which are another minority requested race, have only a small take up on the playerbase.
Ye
“Nobody wanted Void Elves”
and
“OMG u got brown orcs after much crying”
Looks awkwardly at the population stats indicating Void Elves outnumber Mag’har Orcs nearly 4:1
Sure about that bro?
Well, obviously a new model is more interesting than just another colour. That’s why Zandalari, Nightborne, and Velves are the most popular ARs.
DIDs, LF draenei and HM tauren still have something that differs them from the normal races.
But when you wear full armour you won’t notice the skin colour. And the racials of brown orcs aren’t better than those of green ones so for many there is no reason to play them over normal ones.
And after all no matter how ‘high’ a race is requested, it’s always just a small fraction of players.
So it s pretty plausible that for example more people asked for brown orcs than for Nightborne, but more players who don’t care much about possible coming ARs prefer Nightborne because of aestethics.
Absolutely. I completely agree with you.
Which is why when people say “Nobody asked for void elves” it’s a non-point. Because clearly plenty of people enjoy them (most popular AR) and just because they haven’t actively voiced their support for them, or petitioned them in advance, it doesn’t mean they don’t count.
Therefore seeing Velf as a failure is bizarre. No other AR is doing so well. I believe in general terms Alliance ARs (taken as a total) encompass more of the alliance’s population than Horde ones do Horde, which says something (even if a big bulk of it is velf).
So you’re right, for many people the “small stuff” Is irrelevant. It’s enough to get the belf model. So whilst some folks will see Velf as a “spit in face over helf”, there are probably 3-4 others who think “awesome, I get this cool model”, because they’re not particularly bothered about stuff like peachy skin and blue eyes so much as access to a more human-sized elf on alliance.
I did this https://www.wowhead.com/achievement=13517/two-sides-to-every-tale
And it was really good fun seeing all stories and zones from both sides .
I did that too, but I still cannot play vulpera.

Only a few days left to this masterpiece race, I am afraid this will cause a faction imbalance in favour of Alliance. Populations will turn into %65 Alliance and %35 Horde on Eu region.
Look how hyped the horde players are for this brand new cool race
Taking things from Reddit is hardly a way to make a mature point worthy of consideration you know. I mean that is almost the antithesis of measured and healthy discussion.
A bit concerned though, if people on Reddit think that white underpants = a ‘Diaper’ or ‘Nappy’ to use the correct term, something that one puts on incontinent children, then I am a bit worried about whether these people should be allowed to play a game where children may be involved…as in, a bit skeevy to be around kids…I mean, I assume they think that the white bra’s that female mecha Gnomes wear are…like those…bra’s that you therefore put on infant girl babies? You know the ones, said -no one ever-. But apparently white underpants make them think of very young infants sanitary protection…
That’s…a bit diseased as a line of thought…a bit worrying to be fair.
Why they can’t just get their heads around the fact that it is a white pair of pants, the same as top underwear designers still design for grown adults, using models to flex in them is quite beyond me. It must just be that they are all a bit skeevy and want to infantilise Gnomes. Which is -Very- Creepy.
Only a few days left to this masterpiece race,
Meh, I wouldn’t say masterpiece, they’re good, but they’re not a masterpiece, still, plenty of people seem to like them.

I highly doubt that, what would Alliance fans find to complain about then?
Also 65% Alliance 35% Horde would be pretty good if you could implement it on the RP Realms, Thanks. Be nice not to be 70/30…

Not particularly, I prefer the idea of Vulpera, however I have seen Alliance fans quite hyped for it, and someone even started a thread for those who were hyped about them, and then along came you and rained on their parade out of sheer spite. Just because you don’t enjoy something, does not mean that others have to follow suit. They -are- allowed to think for themselves you know…
