LOL, what kinda genious do you think you are, you dont even play the game your just on forums talking absolute bs, have you seen how much healing they do, on the streams you watch? swift mend to regrowth is insane, and what the hel are you talking about i saied tune down healers , and tune down classes that are performing to well right now, and buff CDS? so if you heal less with all your heals but not to an extend that it will just make you flop, thats what im saying find the better numbers, cuz its 2 high now, and 2 less burst. can you open your mind up now. or start playing the game maybe , instead of just typin on this forums lol
- You keep bringing up only rdruids when you want to use the example of an “overtuned healers” yet at the same time keep asking for ALL HEALERS to be nerfed.
You know what all of this means? It means you want games to be over before dampening kicks in, with bursts deciding who dies in an instant when they’re popped, and healing to not be able to cope with such situations anymore.

Nah the stupid one in here is you. If they nerf healers furthermore there will be literally hibridrid casterclaves, Ret feral boomy, enha feral boomy. Literally only the hybrid classes will be able to play this crap.
Also we had enough cd trading and it killed the game. Sustain is always better.
Everything that can create a distance between you and another player is a kiting tool.
The tool in it self isnt called kiting. The entire set of actions, where you use certain spells to create a distance and you improving your position, is.
So since there are counters or ways to make them less effcient kiting tools are not kiting tools? So heals are not heals since we have counterspells and kicks?
The act of kiting refers not to the creation of distance per se, it refers to the maintained creation of distance over a vaguely defined amount of time (i.e. not just a short moment). A momentary increase that can’t be maintained is just an escape after all, and therefore falls more under the premise of peel than kiting.
Example of this is hunters back then. They were the epitome of kiting.
It’s under this definiton that complaints such as “that XX can’t be kited” came to be over the years, when whatever the complaint was about got enough tools to shut down the kiting. Despite the existence of momentary escapes, they still counted as being unkiteable at such periods of time in the game. Because escapes doesn’t fall under the definition of kiting per se.

i suggest they remove GCD for PvP.
Make all casters and melee spell/abilities instant cast but this will take away their resource like a truck. So, players have to be more attentive when using spells or abilities
Total nonsense. There is no defined amount of time that that distance needs to be created for it to called kiting.
Especially not during an era where fights where relatively short. So a bigger % of that fight consisted of melee being unable to catch up with the caster.
That a certain class had better kiting tools didnt mean that other classes had no ways to kite.

That’s completely the wrong way to balance it. The mananerf actually buffed strong defense wizzards the most (at least if they know how to play (high mmr))!
No matter if high mobility wizzards (frost mage (due to spam slow) / Ele due to ghostwolf with healing) or the new PvP tanks (destro / …) - they are avoiding so much dmg while still burning the opponents mana, that we actually need to tune down their defense and/or incerase the uptime of melees. Only then we can get more balance into the comps.
Another factor why it would be a bad idea: bad teams would instantly cry again if the get three-shotted by meleecleaves - I mean, they are even crying right now, when they actually have everything they need to survive…
But a better way to balance it could be to remove some of those micro ccs (which are also the reason why wizzardcleaves often dominate the tourny): They keep away melees and make it possible for Rdruids in the wizzardcleave team to go more often for drinks. Melees can’t reach the Druid neither one of the wizzard to get out maximum pressure.
I don’t like it to remove stuff since it’s giving the game at least some depth, but they have to do something… Maybe just increase the cds of those casts a lot (like double?!).
This entire mess is created by Blizzard trying to attemp to balance the super high up time of melee.
To use your own example: the games yesterday.
WW + DK of Grmbl had near 100% up time on the frost mage of method black. With 2 teams just mongo ing damage in to eachother. If you dont nerf melee gap closers (but make up for it in other areas) you keep a situation like that.
Casters that need a truckload of tankability or selfheals since melee have this much up time.
Its so unfun and ugly.
U need a situation where casters have to cast to do dmg. Not a situation where melee has 100% up time and to balance things out casters do burst sequences for 50-100k by relying mostly on instants.
And u want to remove more caster CCs? That means casters will rely more on instants, tanking and self heals…so literally the direct opposite direction the game should be heading.
I’m maybe wrong, but didn’t Method Black won 3:2 vs them? Should have actually been 3:1 but Raiko just died without blocking or reacting to the game.
Wizzardcleaves have all they need to survive, if you aren’t able to, it doesn’t mean melees can force too much uptime - it means you let them have too much uptime…
Again: No team that came up with a WW won a series yesterday. They even lost when they gave them a freewin. So ya, I want some changes here. The wizzard dominance is showing up, dunno why you can’t see it or is it just that you don’t want to see it?
This expansion kinda sucks, as you guys already said. You only meet casters and rdruids. You wont be able to kill any brained rdruid since their movement is too crazy, beside their insanely heals.
Doing only 1 Win each week and capping with bgs/Invasions. I cant and wont accept such a bad balancing in the arena.
Your issue is short term. Your issue as melee can be fixed by simple number tweaks. Basicly how Blizzard has been doing it.
My issue is long term. The gameplay isnt fun: Melee has too much up time and Blizzard “fixed” that by allowing a lot of casters to land a burst sequence that consists of a lot of instant casts.
This is directly related to the issue you have with caster cleaves.
Your issue is, that you think melees having fun in the current meta…
As long as casters have the same damage, superior CC and superior tankiness while also not needing to kite, no, melee do not need their uptime nerfed.
Remove the instants casters have, then. No more instant root, no more death coil/lock root.
