No one said you are a leaver but i think there is a substantial amount of evidence that suggests inviting someone with significantly higher score means you better play perfectly because the chance of that player leaving is simply higher.
And ofcourse Theres good people that would never do that, but the bad apples ruin it for the good ones.
OK but hereâs the thing. People donât want Havocs. So I need higher rating than the other 99 DPS in your queue to be picked. And now Iâm told too high rating means you wonât be picked.
See the problem?
If my rating was lower youâd pick a FDK instead.
Dont get me wrong, i am not denying theres problems. I was simply explaining the experiences of loads of people pugging when inviting higher scored people.
You know what is also âinsanely cringeâ?
Hiding behind a level 26 so nobody can see if youâre really âover qualifiedâ
Donât forget if you have a high rating or gear up, you have no life/spend all day on the game or need to touch grass.
If you have lower rating and ilvl you are a casual who doesnât do anything or lazy.
Itâs the same old rhetoric every time.
Dammit Puny, go touch grass!
Your text became green cause of the lack of it!

But yeah, damned if you, damned if you donât.
This community makes zero sense on many topics.
Too be fair thats the answer you get from every fotm reroll andy, but i have main this specc since idknow when
Meta slavery is quite silly, but people do it a lot.
On the one hand, sometimes there really is a tremendously good reason as to why what you want to do isnât considered viable, but more times than not, especially at low ratings, a decent rating for the activity plus the required utilities is enough.
I am not a meta slave myself. I invite the players with the utilities I think we need, and Iâm not being terribly rigorous other than to check if we have enough CR, CCâs, rez, and I bring lust myself so I donât check for that.
However, bizarrely, the meta seems to be a slave to me. Like idk, fire and frost were awesome after 10.1.5, theyâre still pretty good, and then arcane becomes insanely good and I check it out being worried that itâs too complicated, and now itâs not anymore.
This is like the 2nd or 3rd time in the last couple of years where all three mage specs are powerful and competitive with one another as well. Itâs honestly kind of impressive. I wish all classes had it like that. Oh wellâŚ
I always cringe when i see someone posting +7 and there is desription with DK
or SHAMM or something like that
most people in key range 7 and lower when they play mETA they are just straight bad at the game
always existed. with my mage had to change everytime spec to join a group. probably as not as TBC⌠but near.
because it oftens derails every thread when sherlocks start investigating every little detail about op.
its a thread about a story that is true in general.
I have hayfever!!!
imagine being defeated by grass, couldnât be me
Hope youâre alright though.
Sad but true.
They should delete Aug.
Joined a +9 mists on my paladin to tank it. We sit and wait for 5 minutes until Iâm like âwait a second, is there no healer signing?â and then I check the queue. Thereâs several healers in there that I wouldâve invited.
I ask him why not take any of them.
TL;DR of what he said: Shaman deletes affix.
As if you need a shaman for the affix. I can dispel it on my paladin, all the DPS in the group can dispel it.
I wait for 2 minutes more of him not inviting any healer, tell him to just invite someone so we can go. He says no, I leave.
Looking him up now, they either failed the key or he didnât start the run.
to be honest this week affix is so disgustingly broken for shamans.
it will probably be even worse this week xD
We could all just press dispel on ourselves and it wouldâve been handled. Donât need a shaman to dispel it. Hell, I probably donât even need to dispel myself, Iâd remove it with WoG healing.
try to rely on random dps pressing their utility spell just once and you will realise how bad they are XD
this is the way
fun>meta rerolling for meaningless score
normally i wouldnt care much what others do in a game but sadly in wow it also affects you when everyone else rerolls fotm meta
Yeap and Iâve seen how a âmetaâ class can be turned around to be trash within a few patches due to an ability being too powerful to what it was actually meant to be.
Each season another bunch of meta classes appear and all that time/effort that someone put into Season one know means they have to start fresh. But hey is people actually do enjoy the rerolling for meta, then go for it!
