Micro-Stuttering Undead Mage

Hi Guys, I have a weird issue.

Whenever I play my mage it seems to suffer from weird stuttering issues when the FPS never goes below 60.

Its really odd as I disabled all addons with my mage in case that was causing issues but it still occurs.

Tried updating Gfx drivers and still happening, Even with a Gfx setting of 1 (The lowest possible it still stutters but only on mage)

My specs :
i7 8700K, 16Gb DDR4, GTX 1070ti.

I do have WoW installed on an old 7200 RPM HDD but I do not understand why only my mage has this issue and not one of my other characters.

Posting here in the hope someone can shed some light on this.

Hi there Dribbowl, it seems there’s another thread on this, so you may want to try the fixes there: Stuttering/frame skip

It’s likely an Addon or Computer setting causing the issue somewhere though. Also if you have a “bugged” item in your bags/bank you will need to reach out to support ingame to resolve it.

It eventually resolved itself not sure how or why though, I updated GFX Drivers and removed all addons, restarted computer etc.

Thankfully my mage is now playable again!
