Paladin needs to be able to add “Infusion of Light” to their Tracked Bars! Currently not possible on PTR.

Please redesign the quest text window as well.

I really would like to be able to colour code mobs like we can with Plater. Specific colours for casters and mobs that do frontals.

I’m looking forward to the new damage meters, cooldown manager, and boss mechanics.

I hope Nameplates really good.
Since if I play tank. I could see color change from my taunted/aggro and other tank taunted.

How I used addon Nameplates.

I really don’t like the new plates. I will barely notice the difference in a bright yellow bar and a slightly shinier bright yellow bar. The debuffs/buffs everywhere is a headache. This is entirely optional, right?

I am not entirely up to date with this “integrate/enhance certain UI elements into BlizzUI and prohibit certain addon functionalities”, has it been said that nameplate addons will be prohibited?
As roleplayer TRP3’s interaction with KUI nameplates has very nice extended nameplate functionalities which, of course, have absolutely nothing to do with what nameplates are actually meant for, so those would never get added to BlizzUI and would be lost for good if namplates get locked out from LUA addon interface.

I am a bit worried about the “boss ability timeline”.

Doesn’t that take out all the “surprise/memorization” when a combat mechanic is supposed to happen? This sounds to me like devaluing the raid learning down to button execution basically.

Tbh, Blizzard should make an own, integrated RP Interface for RP realms imo. Not because TRP3 Extended and co are bad. But because that would fix the problem unless they add another work pipeline from where TRP3 can draw the information.

Can i have sound notification customization like in weak auras for buff tracking like lose buff get sound notification, else may as well stick to weak auras.

As long as things can still look like they do on default, I’m fine with whatever they do.
I’ve never used any type of nameplate addon because they all make WoW look ugly: Way too sleek and square for a fantasy game, imo.

KUI Nameplates let’s you set the nameplate look like the regular name without any boxes etc. with the letters of the name themselves being the healthbar wich turn from whatever colour the name has to blacked out. The names stays perfectly readable and can be customized with outlines, glow, blah blah but also plain and simple like WoW itself.
I find it more immersive than eyeing over to the target icons all the time, plus I dislike the regular looks of all those nameplate variants most people prefer as annoying, too.

Not saying that this has any value for you as you’re used to looking at target frames aynway, i guess.

But if nameplates will get locked away from addons it would be useless anyway.

I guess the nameplate options dont look too bad, however I quite like my current nameplates what I’ve fully customed with addon I modified to my liking and addon called omniauras which I also modified to my liking, it show major conditions and cc in nameplates, partyframe and so on. I hope I can continue using it and if not I fear there will be massive tweaking waiting with UI in midnight before can play it. Already annoyed thinking how much work there will wait till can play the game again.

The games default UI has been horrid for over 20 years, the sole reason why there is so many addons and why the game has been fully customizable pretty much by players, I dont have any confidence on blizzard providing me something UI wise or my gameplay needs wise which I would find sufficient from blizzards end alone. I give points for trying however but lets be honest, this is 20 years too late and now youre just breaking things.

Speaking of UI changes, question if there is some particular reason why diminishing returns have never been part of default UI or shown in the game for players to be able to figure out if the target is immune or not to their CC they are about to use. Information quite important to know and big part of your games design yet only trackable via addon. So lets talk of UI changes and addons and not forget diminishing returns and the lack of their trackability for the past 20 years.

Hi, first of all this all look Great

I have 1 request question that has been bothering me ever since the new UI back in Dragonflight (or was it Shadowlands?)

Can we PLEASE have a way to remove the Curved Dragon Claw from our Unit Frames
the ONLY reason I still use an Addon instead of WoW UI is the fact that I cannot have a nice Rectangle HP and Mana bar for me and my Target.

not a fan of a lot of the combat tools becoming native, nameplates honestly itself is whatever, but wether its third party or native I don’t really mind I just don’t want to have to use combat tools, however them becoming native also means the game will continue to be balanced around having them, maybe even more so cause now everyone has access to these tool

This is a vast improvement on the old plates.

In general good. But if it means, other options (addons) cannot be used, because you’ll block the API access, you lost me forever. Simple as that. I like those addons, and based on the recent UI changes I don’t trust Blizzard to be able to make their’s as customizable as the addons are. So in general it’s good for players who don’t like addons, but if it kills current addons, it’ll be bad for players like me.

It does seem to be their aim to phase out certain addons. There is no time frame for it yet though.

Can we also finally get better combat text? The current one is absolutely useless. It doesn’t have to be at the level of MSBT or similar addons, but adding damage type colors and ability icons to damage numbers should be a baseline option.

I cannot comment on dungeons and raiding, since I do not play that part of the game anymore, but clearing delves on any difficulty levels and killing nemesis on ? has been perfectly doable for me without any combat addons.

The cooldown manager…will they be adding to this?

I like the idea, but there are things I would like to see:

  • The direction of the icons to be centralised. From what I’ve seen the directions are either left or right
  • Tracked buffs being dynamic in display. When active, they appear where they are position in the cooldown manager. This is odd because the original buff tracker is dynamic
  • The tracked buff bars need to be dynamic also. Hopefully we can change their position from horizontal to vertical

It has a lot of potential and I hope they work with people like Luxthos (I use his WeakAuras)
