Removing the interrupts of every healer specialization was a move we first saw in Legion, as well as the general dumbing down of every class and playstyle.
I expect Midnight to be a very divisive expansion:
People who suck at the game will love it: their classes are easier now, there are fewer things to manage and keep track of, and they will have the illusion of perfoming better than they used to because of it.
People who are good at the game will miss the depth of previous class design, as well as the many tools they used to have to deal with various situations in which they will now find themselves powerless.
Oh, well. At least this will give me plenty of material for new threads, I guess. Glass half full?
Wait a second â are you from another universe? Another timeline? Legion was the most successful modern WoW expansion! So Iâm glad you believe in Midnight too. See you there
But⌠If you do: Itâs likely to be wrong.
Iâm good at the game. Incredible, one might even say.
But I have not been worried about anything youâve listed as being an issue.
I will admit, I havenât tried it yet for myself. So who knows what might happen.
You havenât tried it yet either, have you?
Have you tried consuming human feces, Tah? Do you need to go through that experience first before youâre able to tell itâs not something youâre going to enjoy?
I was already complaining about Legion pruning during Warlords of Draenor, back when people were all saying: âitâs just the alphaâ, then âitâs just the betaâ, and finally âitâs just the pre-patchâ.
As it turns out, it was still garbage after the full release. Who could have seen that coming?
But for me, Legion was where it all began â good players became even better. People started forming parties for high Mythic+ keys, RaiderIO showed up so we could compare our e-peens, and the wild PuG scene (yeah, it existed before) truly evolved with M+. So in my dimension, Legion was a success even from the perspective of skilled players. So what about Midnight â will it be Legion 2.0? Weâll see
Sure, but that experience is quite different than some changes to classes.
Also: Taste changes over time. I wasnât always into casual content, for instance.
I had an absolute awesome time.
So, no it wasnât garbage at all as far as I am concerned.
Itâs not that different, no.
Any person with a brain can read a list of changes and have enough processing power to understand how thatâll change their experience as a player.
I absolutely do not need to âwait and seeâ, reading is plenty enough.
Yes. Why did you cut that part of my message from your quote? This one:
I already said it wasnât perfect. However, it was much easier to play alts during SL than it was during Legion and BFA.
So again: while still flawed, a step in the right direction.
I donât think itâll be you actually being right; I think itâll be you being too stubborn to ever admit you were actually wrong, so youâll keep up some charade that you hate it.
Much like you have been with Legion. We all know you really loved it.
Itâs okay Slapster. Embrace it.
Youâll feel so much better.
Wut? Covenants, conduits, soulbinds, legendaries - which Blizzard said were a huge clump of borrowed power fronloaded at the start so they didnt have to introduce more in later patches, meanwhile in the next paytch domination shards XD.
Yeah man I was so happy I could use Bash on my furry warrior or SotR pn my ret paladinâŚ
