Midsummer Festival ended early (again)

Hello Blizzard,

sadly midsummer festival ended again early in EU (and NA as far as i am aware). Tons of people saved up blossom to spend right before the events ended to get maximum value.

Please reinstate the event until the respective resets for NA and EU so we can spend our blossoms.

It even said throughout July 5, which in my understanding means including july 5

They did. July 5 means when the day turns from July 4 into July 5. It was always like this and I even warned you! The question was: “How long does the summer festival last?” and my answer was:

• probably as long as it lasted in TBC first time around. But around 14 days. In Reatail it began - same as TBCC 21 june and ends July 5. So use your blossoms some days before this and latest the 4th; remeber that July 5 means when this day begins, not at the end of the day as we EU people are used to.

No, it is meant to finish on 2022/07/05 at 10:00 AM. As far as I’ve seen, it was ended a day too early.

This is the time and date for the Retail event. In TBC it ended as it always had with daily reset this morning.
I do understand your disappointment, but we know this (it’s a known issue - as you can see from the warning I copy/pasted).
Events in Vanilla -TBC - Wrath always took some Europeans by surprise by ending in the wee hours of the morning instead of in the evening as we expected.
We - or many of us - have learnt. and now you know too.

Midsummer event is over but you still can die from bug by visiting point where midsummer fire should have stood.

For some reason Berny has small lags near midsummer fire locations.

Fires are not more yet Berny can still feel the fps drop. Wtf mon.

Framerate bug recently introduced?

So, what is going on with the extreme framedrops in Area 52 and Gadgetzan? I can stand inside these areas and be at around 60-85 fps. Move one inch and be back at 380-400+ fps. I asked around and other people had the same thing going on. Keep in mind that nothing changes on screen. Just the FPS super tanks in some places within these areas. I was told by some people that it has showed up recently and that Blizzard “had done some sh*t” or whatever.

How would you get maximum value? I mean I get you counted on 10AM maybe, but this year we were even granted an extra reset of all fires so everyone could get double the amount of the normal blossoms. Why wait till the last day?

I hope it’s an easy fix to just spawn the supplier back for a few extra days.

If you have Blossoms in your bag you can still use them for the buff, just stand where the fire used to be. As for buying from the vendor, well why would you wait until the last moment for that?

To get one more days worth of hit rating food? Meh.

Their daily server reset is always around 8AM server time (Or is it 10am?) anyway.
Why would you think it ends in the evening in the first place? I’ve never played a single MMORPG where an event ends in the middle off a day, it’s always on daily server reset…
