Being stuck at WQ in Zuldazar atm were i am supposed to kill Ghaz’ralka and guess what the quest doesn’t even start and after 20min wait still not there.
Same thing happened to me in Vol’dun the other day with Hivemother Kraxi not spawning.
Yesterday i seemed to have a bug with the Champions of Azeroth quest were i just didn’t get the button with the necklace to be able to absorb the 5 pools. 250rep lost and my time. Tried everything i could imagine, zone in and out, log in log off, disable all addons, whatever still no damn button.
To progress in rep and some Azerite we are allready stuck with these lowly rewarding WQ and now they start to even bug or not work anymore.
Came back after 5 years and this game is in a sorry state don’t even bother writing a ticket anymore about such issues. In the past you could quite easily reach a GM that would help you out with issues in game. Doesn’t exist anymore profit before service i guess.
So my question is why isn’t there any monitoring on the good working of WQ ??
There is a world quest called the “Hundred Troll Holdout” near the “Ghaz’ralka” world quest which may cause phasing issues. I’d suggest doing that WQ first and you may find that solves your problem, it did for me when i had the same problem earlier in BFA. Currently the Ghaz’ralka WQ seems to work fine for me (and i haven’t touched the “Hundred Troll Holdout”), but ofcourse we may be on different stages of Zuldazar progression.
As for the Hivemother WQ, she is fairly difficult to find the first time, as she’s in a hidden cave, so you may have been in the wrong place.
I have no idea what may have caused your problem with the CoA WQ, the way you describe it makes me think addon problem aswell, but ofcourse had that been the case then disabling your addons and leaving&returning to the worldquest area should have solved that. I’ve personally never had any problem with these WQ myself.
I don’t think these issues reflect all that badly on the state of wow, and every expansion i’ve played has had problems similar to these in one way or another, but such is life. As for assistance from GM’s, that should still be an option but you’re describing a few problems that you’ve encountered during the newyear holiday so there’s only so much you can expect there.
