I am reporting a missing item in the Anniversary Classic Alterac Valley vendor. Specifically, the caster ring ([Don Rodrigo’s Band]) is unavailable, while the melee ring ([Don Julio’s Band]) is already present.
This issue is confusing for Anniversary Classic players because:
We are currently in Phase 2 on Anniversary Classic servers.
Melee rings like Don Julio’s Band, originally from Phase 3 in Classic Era, are already available.
However, Don Rodrigo’s Band, which came in Phase 5 during Classic Era, is missing.
This inconsistency has been heavily discussed in the Mage Class Discord and across forums. If melee rings are available, the caster ring should also be present to maintain fairness and consistency for all classes.
Anniversary Classic is meant to be a unique, curated experience separate from Classic Era. Please escalate this issue to the Anniversary Classic development/support team for further review. Many players, especially casters who reached exalted status with Alterac Valley, are disappointed by this oversight.

I respectfully disagree with your assessment. Currently, the caster ring [Don Rodrigo’s Band] is available on the Horde side, but not on the Alliance side. If it were intended as you mentioned, then the melee ring ([Don Julio’s Band]), which is a Phase 3 item from Classic Era, should also not be available in Phase 2 on Anniversary Classic. Yet, here we are with the melee ring accessible while the caster ring is missing.
As I stated in my original post, in Classic Era:
AV was introduced in Phase 2.
The melee ring ([Don Julio’s Band]) was added in Phase 3.
The caster ring ([Don Rodrigo’s Band]) came in Phase 5.
Anniversary Classic follows a different progression model than Classic Era, so using Classic Era’s phase timing as a justification here doesn’t align with how Anniversary Classic is currently structured. The inconsistency between Horde and Alliance vendors further supports this being a bug rather than an intended design choice.
I encourage Blizzard to investigate this discrepancy thoroughly, as it significantly impacts the balance and fairness for Alliance casters who have worked hard to achieve exalted status with Alterac Valley.
It is true that it must be complicated to farm AV every 5-10 minutes by rushing the boss. Some have spent a full day to be exalted, what Herculean labor.
so can someone take a screenshoot from horde side on the aniversary server if the caster ring is available for purchase?
for ally side, only the melee is available
I got an answer from customer service, saying we should report this as a bug to developers. But I reported it one week ago, so how come nothing has happened?
