Mob Stealing, a reportable offence?

I am not the offender in this scenario, but this is something that happens A LOT OF TIMES!

Yesterday me and two others where on the quest " Hypercapacitor Gizmo"

I saw another player close to where the quest was and was going o invite that player, but was not able to cause he/she was already in a group.

The team got ready to start the quest and the moment I opened the cage to start attacking the mob, the other player who was NOT in my team basically as the title of this post says… stole out quest mob, he/she was not with their group and was alone, he/she was unable to finish off the mob for the quest though, but still it was an attempt of STEALING a quest mob.

Would you say this is a reportable offense when in fact the person on purpose did not ask if they could join or group to get the quest done and instead tried to STEAL the mob from us.

Not reportable.

A dick move though? - Yes.

It’s every man for themselves when it comes to named quest mobs, they’re often the biggest choke points during leveling 1-20

The only time I’d consider mob tagging a reportable offence is if someone was intentionally targetting you out and following you around taking ALL of your quest mobs for an extended amount of time

The person litteraly waited for SOMEONE to start the quest to tag it on themself…

Morally wrong? Yes
A reportable offense? no.

Mobs arent wearing litte boards like “this mob is belong xyz”. Neither any nodes…

They are belong to everyone. Didnt make it in time? Try again next time!

Haha I do this constantly with named (and normal) mobs. The best case scenario is when for example a mage casts a frostbolt or sth and I’m able to put a flame shock on the mob before the frostbolt hits. I get the tag and the mage gets the aggro. Always makes me smile.
