Why does this system exist? Why do we need a limit to how many people can tag a mob in 2022?
What purpose is this system enforcing? Why is WoW still stuck in the past with this arbitrary system?
I cannot see a single proper reason for the target tagging cap. It only makes every major event worse for everyone.

yes, please revert to single tag.
You realise how painful that was when you go and play Classic

No idea why they still keep this limit. It doesn’t exist for rares now or most elite enemies and important quest targets.
What is the point of normal mobs having the 5 person limit?
So what if a 6th person decides to attack it also, does this break the game or something?

I’ve played since closed beta, it encourages you to invite other people and socialize, thank them for the invite etc. When you later do /who lvl-range and recognize the name you’ll try that char first instead of the flavour of the month.

Was? It still is.
I’ve played classic for almost 150 hours. It’s the same legacy system at work in Retail.
I’ve never seen a single argument for this system to stay alive.
Was, as in back then, when that was the current game mode.
And I agree, I see no reason to bring that hell back.

It doesn’t encourage you to invite “known people” at all. All the servers are splintered and phasing exists. This is a legacy way of thinking about a game this old.
This way of thinking perished 15 years ago.

Like I said I’ve played since closed beta (vanilla), these days everyone is just rude.

Nobody cares since when you have played the game. Nobody. Why do you feel the need to bring it up? It’s completely pointless to the discussion.
“These days everyone is just rude”
If you’ve played since the closed beta, why do you only have 17k achievement points?
Why are you making sht up for internet points?

You all want to race through content without any obstacle.
Gear you get by paying gold GDKP,
Pay for your achievement so you can get an invite by your fellow paid for achievement group. People stopped playing the game and want constant boosts, why do you even play this game. It’s what the high end hardcore guilds in Vanilla warned blizzard for, you create an entitled player base.
The original WoW was a casual friendly version of Everquest.
Ohhhhh so because I called out your lie of playing since closed beta I’m now someone who pays for my achievements?
Holy sht do you even try?
Vanilla 60 champion, server first on nef, c’thun, vashj, kael, illidan, archimond, algalon
I have the 10 year sub statue.
I’ve played since closed beta as well but I have two NA accounts dating back to vanilla launch.
Here, tear me up. https://worldofwarcraft.com/en-us/character/us/amanthul/skoomacat
Oh yes I got your profile right here on DataOfAzeroth.
So how does that “played since closed beta” lie usually work out for you? Not that great?
You have played the game less than I have in 13 years and you’re trying to come out here and explain to me how what I’m proposing encourages toxicity?
Are you just here to troll or what?
I don’t give a sh*t what you think, I know what I did.
I know you don’t.
You don’t care about the topic, you’re just here trying to flex on other people with no say on the topic.
I gave my reply in the first post and after that you tried to degrade my reply by personal insults. You lost the discussion
You literally made one comment opposing my idea so you can post your “IvE PlAyEd SiNcE BeTA” comment and nothing after it.
You have provided nothing for the topic at hand. You only got mad because I called out out.
You have nothing to say.
And it’s valid and it’s why in classic wotlk there still isnt random dungeon finder.
