It is fascinating that something which would not interfere with your game experience why bothers you all.
Like literally you could play on old graphics or newer in case you want. Your choice.

I certainly do based on what I think about it. Sense is the opinion of whatever someone thinks about it, but if you think that what I say doesn’t make sense, that’s fine. I still wholly disagree with the idea of adding an option for retail visuals, even if it’s an option.

Generally it’s fascinating how so many seem to know how x or y won’t affect someone’s experience - it’s a very common theme on the feedback forums, and social media in general. Not everyone has the mindset of “Why not?”.

Well people don’t want changes like transmog because it’s probably not toggle only, if transmog was in you’d have no choice but to see other peoples mog and therefore it changes the game for you. However, with character models it would be quite easy to have a toggle on/off and only visible for the user, so it isn’t such a big deal - a lot of people use addons/mods to change their own appearance right now anyway.

No thanks, the retail graphics are pure trash and part of what ruined the game.

You can put your visuals all the way down if you want, it’s still Classic visuals. Knowing the world is Classic and players play it that way is important.

The world and the content is classic 100% agree! That is the reason I choose to play it. Graphics are a different topic.

Water visuals are new though, so your reason is not valid.

Water visuals change made water look like actual water and not the same repeated few pixels for as far as the eye can see. That change doesn’t change the feel that it’s Classic.

if you think then that a full retail visual graphics overhaul would still be Classic, then I think that’s incorrect.
