They are humans and were part of the Alliance, KTs having mages is fine. Zanadalari not having warlocks is not.

Thats still one more than zandalari warlock he =p

Oh hey, calming down has actually made you start saying things that are relevant + make sense. Yes, I did forget about those. I’ll concede the point of mages.

You must’ve missed me linking this guy a bit ago!

I was mega disappointed by them changing their minds on zandalari warlocks after Blizzcon. I wanted to RP a character like Za’roco. :frowning:

This guy is as logicial as the warlock highmountain tauren he is NOT encouraged by HIW OWN culture and socity thats why its not logicial to have them being warlock

nor are human warlocks, as you can see them hiding down in the Slaughtered Lamb.

nor is anyone encouraged by their culture to become a Demon Hunter, or a Death Knight.

This isn’t an argument.

Quite the real history there.

Putting in “the califate or the frankish kingdomes” as a major contender for the roman empire is a bit out there. Western rome was sacked by the visigoths afterall (and the visigoths later controlled much of the territory of western rome). Admittedly the Kingdom of Sygarius had to contend with the frankish kingdoms more directly, but that was the smalles roman rump state you could imagine and came after the gothic tribes did the heavy lifting in regards to west rome. For the eastern part I would also say that the Sassanids did much more to break the power of the Byzantines than any caliphate did, though of course it would be the Ottoman Empire who finally conquer them directly. I also wouldn’t argue that either the eastern nor the western roman empire were particularly defensive minded or anything, but instead eager to reconquer what was lost, especially the eastern part. An example for this were they actions in sicily and southern italy during the medieval period.

So overall I would suggest that you maybe pick up an actual history book instead of just playing Rome: Total War II and then lecturing others on “real history”.

Are warlocks really encouraged and supported by any culture, in real terms? They sure weren’t in the beginning.

They absolutely aren’t. I guess at most maybe gnomes would be big on the whole ‘hey let’s figure out what we can do with that’ aspect of it.

Studying forbidden magic is cool and epic and more people should dabble imho. Screw the police.

I have no time to argue to someone who dosent know that the roman empire took back italy after 476 and then lost rome agaisnt Charlemagne i mean i dont have to argue agaisnt a person who dont know that the “Byzatnine” (plz stop calling itl ike this if you dont want to look like an idiot) are in fact the roman empire

Closest is probably BElves? They were more accepted by them during that brief TBC window where they were cool, but they were still shoved off to the side in a corner and not front-and-centre.
