I’m sorry, this game is world of warcraft, not IRL. I agree with him on the, “there’s no Roman Empire in WoW”
You cannot really compare them when the in game races can throw magic and do not look human in some cases.
Also, there wer zandalari warlocks, in fact, we were getting them before zandalari paladins were announced.
it was only at Blizzcon did we find out we were not getting them.
We did not have a chance to fight for them.

it was absolutely logical because the only Kul Tiran mage i know was, in fact, not in Kul Tiras for most of her life + formative years.
In fact all her prowess with the Arcane has been gathered by explicitly not being in Kul Tiras.

those are tidesages, far more similar to priests and shamans (two classes the Kul Tirans were gonna have since the first announcement!), and not mage.

Sure shaman and priest having water spells and water elementals pets totally not frost mages plus the fire mage in raid again the 3rd boss
Although with that said, I’m glad they did add mages because they’re perfect for portraying tidesages.
I also just like mages in general.

They rely far more on shamanistic and priestly methods of worship and bargaining rather than arcane binding.

So we have a total of 1 mage that may have been trained in Kul Tiras but we don’t actually know because he has 0 story.

agree, it’s aesthetically good, even if there’s little lore basis for it.
(that said every tidesage RPer I’ve seen so far has used the regular human model anyway)
