Brewmaster gets the TALENT “Invokes Niuzao, the black ox” procs… a talent, ok fine.
Mistweaver gets “Revival” procs, really???
Why not Invoke Chi-JI ? thats also a talent? Brew gets their talented Niuzao, seems like mistweaver pulled the short straw and got kicked in nuts at the same time
It’s actually worse than useless, since there are at least 2 fights in EP where it will hinder, if not kill, your raid to have an unexpected mass-dispel going off.
Maybe M+ might find some value… it doesn’t hurt to have the odd group heal helping you out. Chi Ji would indeed be much more fun though, and you’d actually feel like your essence was doing something.
No. dont. VoP is literally useless as major and/or minor on allmost all classes expect ret pallys and maybe couple other. Just get your neck to 60 and use Crucible of flames essence. its solid single target essence with one from mythic plus also is good. but NEVER use VoP
Disagree, paly can have it i all 3 wihtout big hindering, prot war have it almost as essencial major and what i heard, bala have VoP prety high as well
However i must agree that for all 3 monk speca, VoP is absolute trash, be i major or minor… 
VoP minor is good for m+ on ww.
However you would never want to run that instead of Purification protocol + C&S as minors and CLF/Iris as major in M+
Why? Purification protocol does close to nothing dps wise. VoP minor can be really good if you have clones available for every major trash pull.
3% is a lot to you? I had cases where it did 1,5% of my dps. Idk about iris either, since i use blood of the enemy. You guys make something that is a personal preference/pull reliant choice into a mandatory choice, which is simply wrong. With vision I always get 100 % value when I plan my CDS. Ur gonna do 65k overall with PP and 62k without using it at all if it does 5% of ur dps. Never seen it do more than 5% on any class and I never had it do more than 3,5% of my dps. Just to clarify, I do not use vision in every dungeon but I use it in dungeons with big trash pulls, mostly on fort weeks. PP seems to do the same damage as crucible of flame. Making somebody grind it is a waste of time. You might as well go with breath of the dying, which is probably miles better now or spark of inspiration for m+. You probably will get more dps with 10 extra corruption resistance.
I guess u should read the peak of serenity again, mr pro. Go into essences. It will blow your small mind and maybe you will stop talking about things you don’t know much about, as if ur an expert. I’m not pretending to be one, but ur just giving bad advice, that stems from ignorance and being condescending about it.

The essences there are ranked the same (VoP and PP) as Top tier
The bis tier for them is unbound force, breath, conflict and strife and worldvein.

Look, for 8.3 SURELY you would want VoP, theres no argue in that. So i guess you win in this aspect of the argument, as PP can be more versatile to swap out

Most of the time he runs PP instead of VoP. I am sorry for arguing with you in the way we did, we should have done it more civilized, but I did however have a place I was coming from, not speaking out of ignorance and my own opinion!

I never said you shouldn’t be running PP or running it over VOP. I only said it does little dps and can be replaced by VOP on fort weeks and crucible of flame on tyrannical weeks skipping the mechagon rep grind entirely. I even tested it to see that maybe I am wrong. What top players use in dungeons depends on many factors. Topic was about vison being useless. It’s not. It’s fine to use in dungeons and easy to get. Saying “you never want to run it” as the dh said is just wrong. PP does too little to be considered mandatory, like other powerful essences like the arena one.
Check peakofserenity yourself, nowhere does it say you should run VoP instead of PP, who’s the ignorant one with small mind again?
