I don’t get your point, you are not paying anymore for anything.
He means that scuffed exp/loot settings like common on some ‘fun server’ private servers are now available genuinely from Blizzard for a monthly fee, in the form of Season of Mastery.
I didn’t think about it like this but he kinda got a point. I was all for the SoM changes except the exp buff and increased mats drops, more available loot in P1, everything that makes the game easier.
But your post makes it look like Season of Mastery costs you extra, it doesn’t.

I think he means expansive, not expensive.
actually i think he mean expensive now cause blizzard dont care about vanilla they rather sell tbc the game for money
copying chars brings extra money and dark portal pass bring more money
