They removed because it gave away position in pvp, or some balls reason like that. Would be nice to have it return.

world quest npcs by far with magni on the front line and " a turtle made it to the water" there is sounds i hate but reoccuring sounds like that i think blizzard needs to find a solution for that.

This expansion, for me, it’s EVERY sound effect in Nazjatar and the 8.3 zones when there’s an assault on. I have to turn Music and Ambient sounds off there, but that still leaves the sound effects 
every time a gnome do /lol it irritating me.
Female Kul Tiran warrior charge screaming. I could not get past lvl 40 and had to shelve it it’s so bad.

Sonar sound from lfg. First time I heard it and didn’t know where it came from I was going mental. Don’t have as bad reaction anymore, but it’s still annoying. Doesn’t help that I haven’t found a way to turn it off.
Bwonsamdis trolling when dying in any horde area. I went from being indifferent to hating that character. Always turn off dialog now because of him.
Raid Warning sound while in random BGs.
God do I hate when the randomly appointed “leader” starts spamming orders in the raid warning, even if they have the best intentions.
If I have a headache Arcane Explosion feels like it’s piercing my skull.

Every time a Pandaren tells me to “Sloooooooow down” I attempt to murder them.
I despise the sounds N’zoth things do. Those tentacle whispers try to sound intimidating, but they just sound like a bit more slimey static.
Those are the main two offenders.
