So i’ve been playing World of Warcraft since februari 2008 which is 1 heck of a time already. (8 years to be exact) and back in Februari 2016, i had to leave World of Warcraft due to technical reasons.

You see, my PC was about 5 years old at that moment and it had abit too low specs to properly run “Legion” which means i had collect money again to purchase a whole new computer. Now i live from some kind of disability fund due to a limition that i have so i don’t really have a wide budget.

But this game is highly addictive for quitte abit of people. (including me)

Now after almost 3 years, November 30th 2018, i finally managed to get myself a whole new computer. Not a top of the line one though as it has an i5-8400 CPU as 1 of the features, but it’s good enough to play World of Warcraft with. With all the current expansions combined.

So at this point i’ve been playing World of Warcraft again for almost 3 months.
And sometimes i see people running around on a flamed corehound mount.
When i asked 1 of them how did u get it, they said “You could obtain it during the 10th WoW anniversary” which made me kinda sad in a way because i just could’nt get it myself earlier as i could’nt afford a new pc earlier.

Because i always considered core hounds pretty badass and i know for a fact that i’m not the only one who feels like that, nor am i the only one that does’nt have that mount yet and still want it. So that being said…

Then i thought to myself
“Maybe i can make a suggestion about it on the forums?”
So here goes:

“Dear Blizzard, why don’t you give people another chance to obtain that core hound mount? Especially for people that have been loyal to you, the company and/or the game for multiple years. Like me. like by putting it in the store for purchase?” I, for a fact would’nt mind to throw some money at it and i bet i’m not the only one because i think looks way better and more badass then that new Hogrus (swine) mount

Quitte abit of people still want it. (including me)
and i believe the official name is “Core Hound Chain”

So please Blizzard, give people another chance to obtain this mount.

Because it was an exclusive for the time and advertised as such? No point calling them that if you’re just going to throw it in the game randomly in the future.

As said above; BMaH will still sell exclusives if you want to shell out money/gold for it but otherwise exclusives are exclusive.

@Hoofheartèd Why not? Why would’nt u allow other people that did’nt really had the chance to obtain it earlier to obtain it too?

I want the red Amani Bear mount but unfortunately I can’t get it since I didn’t play at the time so I’ve learnt to suck it up, accept that I wasn’t there and admire people who did get it.

They aren’t going to come back no matter how much you say “But I want it” I’m afraid.

Bmah = Black Market Auction House. It can sell extremely rare items that can’t be obtained anymore.

OP I hear you, I too missed that mighty red core hound and every time I see someone riding around on one of those majestic beasts I weep in jealousy.

However I am resigned to the fact I will never own one because it was a limited time event reward and wasn’t around for it, it can never go onto the store or be made available in game except occasionally in the bmah where only the richest of heroes can ever get their hands on it.

There is a green version available too that you can either craft for yourself or buy on the AH.

I support that some things in this game need to be limited (I actually think a lot more stuff should be limited, but that’s a whole other post :laughing:).

There are mounts that I don’t have that I would have liked (MoP phoenix mounts, Kor’kron War Wolf etc). However, even though I’d really like them, I’d also not see them added back into the game.

Many removed mounts end up with a re-skin added that is easily obtainable.

And I absolutely do not think that any mount previously available should be added to the in-game store to be bought with real money, ever.

Yep but be expected to pay a lot. The AH cap is 9,999,999 gold and some mounts will easily go for that, such as the unobtainable vanilla ZG mounts.

Well, that would take me a long time to farm
but if it’s about something i really want… then i’m willing to pay a price for it.

couldn’t agree less I hope they also give me the option to get corrupted ashbringer for my Felguard because I definitely deserve it just because it looks cool!! removing the from the game is so unhealthy honestly smh tbh

So many things have been added back to the game and I think it’s a bad thing, why?

Some things need to be unavailable, just to show you were there at the right time or did something others cannot. I have the mount you want and never use it. Same goes for a lot of rare unavailable pets and other mounts.

The odd thing is it was available in November 2014 so you should have got it, since you quit in 2016. I seem to have caught you in a lie.

I have missed out on time limited stuff too, but I wasn’t there to take part in it, so I don’t really deserve it. What is the point in special/exclusive items if they are going to be given to everyone anyway.

There is a green version of the core hound mount that is made by Blacksmiths. You can either buy it or make it yourself.

then how come i never saw it back then? The first time i saw it was when i returned back in November 2018.

I used to ride around on mine all the time, which is why I don’t use it now, I got bored of it. Since everyone got it then and only then, I can only assume you weren’t looking for it so didn’t notice it.

BTW I am saying when it was available, not when you saw it, and you were playing then.

dude. Just spend around 20~25k and buy the green version of it from auction house instead.

Or you can make it yourself with blacksmithing.

@ Dottie, I know. I just haven’t seen it before my return.
So if it was available during the time i was still there,
I find it kinda weird that i never saw it back then.

Maybe because back then, not many people had that core hound mount?
'coz that would explain it at least abit as there’s a bigger chance to miss it.
