There are so many mounts that I wish had flying, like Midnight for example is my favorite mount that is missing flying. Now with Dragonflight coming up, wouldn’t it be a great oppertunity to enable many if not all mounts for flying?

i have to say many good mount are good just for land like the skeleton hand (bracelet of somethin). But in fact horselike mounts should definitely fly

The fact that Midnight cannot fly is the weirdest thing to be honest. Was so happy when it finally dropped for me just to fiind out that it cannot fly so I cannot use it 
. I hope blizzard will change it. We have a lot of mounts that just have a floating animation anyway, so I do not see why they cannot do the same with other mounts. I mean, if most horses can fly, so should this one, Fallen charger and the other 3 recolours of it and any other horse. For regular ones they can even add a questline or something silly like that for regular horses, so there could be some sort of lore reason why simple horses like pintos can fly xD . However, jokes aside, most mounts should be able to fly. I hate not being able to use some mounts I worked hard to get just because they are ground only [ Looking at you, voidtalon ] .
For example (but maybe Souldefiler could be more precise) HH can fly. Why midnight no?
From what people tell me they originally planned to drop flying or something like that which is why all WoD mounts are ground mounts, and that pathfinder was the compromise.
I do agree that ground bird mounts that don’t look like flightless birds are pretty annoying.
On the topic of mounts that cannot fly: basically all the underwater mounts. I mean in a sense they can already „fly”, plus in BfA they were allowed to fly in Nazjatar, so I don’t see any reason why they are not allowed to do so elsewhere. Furthermore some of them share skeleton/ animation with mount, which do fly e.g. mana rays.

Honestly, I think any of the Horse, Tiger, Lupine mounts should NOT have flying. It just look stupid and ruins the immersion.
Unless it’s a ghost horse like Blanchee I suppose.
But the other ones, just look silly when they fly.

Yeh that’s the Lupine that I meant.
It looks really odd when it flies. I just can’t use it. Shame because it looks awesome as a ground mount.

Not every mount has to fly. There are hundreds of flying mounts available - use one of them.

I disagree the only horse that should be able to fly is Invincible as he is a “Pegasus” the rest should be ground mounts.
Edit: and maybe some Unicorns but then they should have wings.
