@Mouseover macro not working with MB4/MB5

Evolution of the problem: Mouseover macro does not work with Mouse buttons 4 and 5, any one know a solution?

I’m trying to make this macro work:

> /cast [@mouseover,help,nodead][exists,nodead][@player]Holy Shock

For some reason on one of my paladins it does not work when trying to cast on blizzard unit/raid/party frames (or ElvUI unit frames), it only works when hovering above a target normally (without unit frames). I’ve disabled all my addons, deleted macro cache in character folder, recreated the macro multiple times but nothing worked.

Is it possible that my character is bugged? If so, is there a way to fully reset it (settings wise)?

This isn’t the correct forum for Macro help.

There is a dedicated UI and Macros forum for that.

This is a technical issue that is causing a macro issue. The root is technical, at least from what I can understand.

UPDATE: This seems to be a problem with mouse keys, the macro works if I bind it to a keyboard key but not with MB4 and MB5.

Anyone know of a solution to this problem?

People complaining [edited by Blizzard - profanity, even masked, is not welcome on these forums] about correct forum but this is a serious post. I have this problem as well. When I macro my purge for mouseover, it works when it’s binded on a keyboard, but doesn’t work when on MB4 or MB5
