Movement Speed question

The armor you wear affects movement speed?

Only when it has +% movement speed boost. Otherwise not at all.

Running with a knife is always faster.

You could put the +speed enchant on them.

No it doesn’t

Yes, don’t go over 70 % equipment load or your character will be fat rolling

Yes and spirit cloth dresses really slow me down. That agility leather seems to mean hunters, Druids and rogues can run really, really fast, while I’m still plodding along, tripping over my skirts until I can afford a mount. :slightly_frowning_face:

On a more serious note, what they said. I’ll get the minor speed enchant on my boots as soon as I can afford it.

Yeah, i mean it only makes sense.
Anyone can run around in a silk dress for hours, but have you tried running in a 100kg suit of steel plate armor?

Red colour increases movement speed.

So why in an article about how to go in Ragefire Charm as Alliance it says this :

<< Once outside the west entrance of Orgrimmar, remove all of your armor and corpse run into the Cleft of Shadow until you can safely zone into the instance.>>

Because you will corpse run.
So your gear wont take damage.

Because the horde will kill you many many times before you can reach the dungeon, so your gear would break if you wore it.

Yeah. Plate armor makes it impossible to move, hence you see so many DPS warriors standing in fire all the time.

Apologies for being silly. I didn’t realise the context of your question. Like they said it’s to save on repair bills. My ally char is a dwarf lady, I’d rather pay the bill than run naked into Orgrimmar. :scream:

And where do you put your items to do naked run? When you die, in which graveyard you summoned?

Or a care package.

Yes, you must carry a stack of Swiftness Potions at all times.

That’s why I have equipped two skinning knifes, double the speed.

Anyway i dont understand, so close the topic. Zero help so far.
