Question regarding WoW Classic
Is it possible to learn multiple riding skills? For example, is it possible as a human to learn Horse Riding at level 40 and then learn Tiger Riding at a later stage when Darnassus exalted reputation has been reached? Or is it one riding skill per character only?
Riding is one skill but you can buy the mounts as you state at exalted.
You can buy and use the different racial mounts once you hit Exalted and have the appropriate riding skill as far as I remember.
From patch 1.12.1 (release date 26 september 2006) You are correct. But during most of vanilla it was not the case and it is not the case in WoW classic. In WoW Classic there are many different riding skills. You need Ram Riding (being dwarf or exalted Ironforge) to ride rams, Tiger Riding (being night elf or exalted Darnassus) to ride cats etc.
My question is regarding WoW Classic and is if it in WoW Classic is possible to have both Horse Riding and Tiger Riding, or if a character is limited to the first riding skill you learn only.
Having looked it up, which I suppose you could have done, on wowhead. I can see the riding skills are separate. I was wrong.
I do remember people using different racial mounts pre 1.12 so I believe this is the case in Classic as well.
But my memory may be faulty as well.
