Okay, so apparently people think RISE is the hardest dungeon that ever existed.
In a moment, I’ll tell you something you should think about when you go to bed tonight.
If you deplete the dungeon these are the reasons why:
You interrupt Epoch Bolts instead of Coordinated Volley.
You bait Shockwaves on Tyr towards the middle instead towards the outer circle of the room because you like how beautiful golden ground is.
You interrupt Temporal Blast instead of Infinite Burn.
You don’t place Chromie on a spot where the entire group can easily trap the mobs.
You bait Shockwaves on Battlefield towards the middle instead towards the outer circle of the room. You like killing yourself with stacks.
You bait Bladestorm into the middle, cause you like killing yourself with stacks.
You leave the Axe Thrower or the Archer alive cause you killed so many powerful baddies in the past (What can a meat axe do to MY superior a**??!)
You are saving healing and defensive cooldowns on packs before Deios for the next dungeon.
You are generally afraid to press healing and defensive cooldowns.
You admire the artwork of Deios room instead of doing orbs. You also don’t read chat about who does them.
You are damaging Deios instead of mobs.
You block the tank’s pathway with sand so tank can make pretty sandcastles with the worldbreaking dragon.
Now before my conclusion, I’ll tell you straight up: RISE is one of the easiest dungeons. It’s entirely in your hands how the dungeon goes, unlike some old ones that are tuned and designed so you can’t control the incoming damage and phases. The funniest thing about this is the way people at keys level 20, or even 24 in my experience don’t know half of the things mentioned above. But it’s my fault for liking to pug, right?
So the thing I wanted to say you need to think about when you go to bed tonight is: if you think otherwise, you are a complete NOOB , hence you don’t deserve to time it at all.
For those who know about this stuff, please forgive the potential hater comment section below. Not everyone can be as good as you, so let them release their anger here.
You bait Shockwaves on Battlefield towards the middle instead towards the outer circle of the room. You like killing yourself with stacks.
You should also learn how this actually works instead of criticizing Watch from 29.21 Most tanks tank it closeish to the edge which makes it hard to bait well as well as pick up the adds.
I don’t know about the whole one of the “easiest”, as other keystones are done higher by the best teams in the world. If it truly was one of the easiest, then Rise would be one of the highest keystones done.
Is this a friday bait post?
Now, I do agree that Rise is not as hard as people make it out to believe. But that is as you touched upon, the lack of experience in the dungeon; then combined with the skill/requirements within. It is kind of a double up factor in the lower keys. That makes it especially hard for people who lack one or all three of those factors.
One of the easiest keys this dungeon pool? Nah. Not by a long shot.
I think stats show its one of the hardest, if not the hardest.
The timer is tight, there are a lot of failure points which you can’t fail or you don’t make the timer.
You can fail on the first trash from not kicking the vollies even on tyrannical. The shrouding sandstorm is also a guaranteed death if no one saves a kick.
Each boss has to be executed well and stuff that won’t kill you on a 20 (all trapping morchie adds at the same time - well the stacks suddenly murder you on higher keys)
Contrast this with other dungeons where you can wipe a couple of times on a boss and still time it comfortably and its night and day.
I’m not disputing that people can do better and they need to learn the dungeon but meh, the way the OP gives advice is godawful.
You haven’t done it on a +29 key level like many others so you are in no place to speak if it is easy or hard. You would get one shot on every mechanic there on +29 lol.
Thanks for the curse. I like to call her that way, like I called Neltharion Deathwing in Aberrus.
I don’t blame myself in any of the past tries.
I’ve seen that, and you’re right. Most of them tank the boss too close to the edge, but the point is, even when tanked correctly, there is always one range dps or a healer who like to stand where they shouldn’t because they don’t know the mechanics. (even in higher keys they’d confess they didn’t know about the stacks)
My point was to make them angry when they read this and I succeeded. The fact that almost none of their comments has a hot take against me (the ones who tried against me), except you and one dude feeds my soul.
This is what my friend would have said 20 years ago when we were seven.
As far as I understand +20 is doable with every class combination you can find out there. So portals were never easier to get if you have proper gear.
My question now is. Why would you need nerfs for a dungeon when you push higher difficulties?
Is Usain bolt crying to get competitors nerfed? If you strive for the title no other than yourself is responsible for success. And if the key is harder for everyone. Then there is no disadvantage at all.
I timed rise +20 in 472. I am only asking for balance between dungeons.
Also not sure what you mean by carried by gear. Does that mean i can stand in all swirlies now and i do not need to heal anymore? My gear is playing?
Yeah no. 1 mistake and you are dead. Yazma spiders 1 shot you for forever. Also on 484. But i will try your advice in my next Rise. I just press W and loot the chest.
It is funny though you only try to make people look bad when we only ask for balance between dungeons. Nobody is claiming you can not do +20 in 480.
Yeah because having a VDH in the group means i do not need to heal anymore and play the mechanics right For some reason nobody ever mention the survival hunter in the group The no havoc DH and no augEvoker.
