After I made my first million in this game, and I had nothing to do anymore, I went for my 2nd million. This time it was a bit more work since the prices has gone down.
I’m a casual player who stopped M+ at 8. Leveled all classes (not rogue yet) to 80.
So now I had some extra time to go for another million.

Out of curiosity how much gold have you guys made by mining and herbing only in TWW?
For me gathering has been a problem because of nodes disappearing and stuff so i just shifted to other professions .

Gatherer here as well. Idk about the sum but yeah first month was good gold per hour. Second month decent. And indeed, now it’s time to not bother anymore (from my pov)
It’s standard story in pretty much every expansion with the exception being BFA.
when i get bored i dont stay in game doing this kind of things in the game (time is money)
instead i go work on my project.
but i know someone in the game who made something like 15 to 16 or 17 million.
2 million is for toddlers, i know some people making 4 million every 5 days
