When I dinged 80 I picked up mining and herbing. Played delves, M0, LFR and PvP. While also took some time to gather and sell at the AH.
All in under 6 days, today I made my million. MMMmmmillion!

I bought Reins of the Grand Expedition Yak for 120K as soon as I had the gold, but yes, my main income to reach a million was from selling gatherer materials on the auction house 
Congrats. To me, it just doesn’t seem reasonable to grind 100 hours at 10,000 gold an hour to make a million gold when I could just buy 3 tokens and spend much less time working.
WoW requires way too much effort to make gold in War Within. In other expansions you could keep yourself afloat with far less time invested.
I like people like you. Instead of complaining how hard it is to make gold you DO something about it.

Gz to your mil, but sad thing is its not that much realy.
According to your numbers u played 5h a day since start of expac , thats quite some time , even if u farmed just for 1 hour of that per day its still too much for me to be worth it .
And prices are over the top, if i were to craft my stuff now and use bis enchants i would instantly need like 300-400k . And thats like 3 items and few enchants .
As far as i dont like it and wont do it, buying token realy is the best options .
The only way i would farm gold is if i could play during work, but couldnt do anything serious , then it would call it fair deal, get paid, gather mats win win .

It’s not? I got a mill in DF and not only did it sustain me for the whole expansion, I only used half of it.

I don’t know whether to laugh or cringe at the people saying buying a token is much better. I guess I’ll thank you for needlessly throwing money at a multi-billion dollar company.

That depends how you play, lariat alone went 100k+ first weeks and thats one item, just a craft commision .

I bought one every season.
I mean to be fair, I did idle around sometimes harvesting herbs. I never paid 100k to have it crafted. It was 20k on tarren Mill every time.
At the same time though, 1 million is a lot. It just is. Unless you want to go to the BMAH, then nothing is a lot.

Best time to make gold is at the start of a new expansion, everything is in demand.
