My issues with 10.1 & wow in general

Tbh I dont really care what rewards they give you as long as its the weakest level for doing the easiest content. And thats not as a punishment to you but as an incentive to do the actual challenging content. And if the removed the rep. If its giving you guys that low level gear and some gold, they can have them all reset everyday for all I care.

The second rep or power are tied to it, thats a big problem .

yeah but the thing is i don’t want to do easy content, i’m all up for hard content i just don’t want to spend 5 hours everyday doing it , not sure how to explain it but that’s a big issue with wow atm. casual players don’t necessarily mean players who want to do trivial stuff

So you can’t do 2 mythic plus a day then? Or find a guild that does raiding in two hour windows?
Anyway it doesnt matter about the content difficulty. They could over tune world quests to 500% and as long as the rewards were basic, happy days.
I mean this with respect, but it sounds like you want to play a single player or horizonral progress game like GW2.

The whole issue isn’t about making the game not fun for others, its about forcing people who care about power and progression to have to log everyday to do dailies. Twice a week was perfect. If I am super busy I can smash those out the way and not worry about falling behind

it’s not about 2 m+ , if you want to do m+ you need to do more than that we all know that. and no i don’t want to spend 2 hours on raid nights, you might say that ‘‘this game is not for you’’ exactly, but i’m not alone  this game is only appealing to a very small percentage of gamers and they keep losing those players too.

it also forces people to do m+ for gearing which means hours of grind and you can’t do anything else that can help you with gearing if u don’t want to do m+ at that time. also you dont have to do any wqs for power they already became meaningless for people who grind m+ , except the weekly ones.

Ok at this point I dont really know what you want. Its the equivalant of going into a chicken restaurant, complaining they only sell chicken, saying you dont even want to try the chicken, but refusing to leave and go somewhere else. And to stretch the analogy further, you then demand the chef makes you a crappy pasta dish, that nobody wants, just so you can feel like you can stay.

It might be time to find a different restaurant, as its 2023 and there are loads of good ones out there

I dont know, but when something has almost nothing for me or that I enjoy, I go do something else. You can always come back when you get bored of that. Or you decide you fancy some chicken.

yeah that’s what i’m doing atm but this is a big reason why many new players don’t get into wow, at least people around me . ‘‘i don’t have time for that grind’’ and they play other mmos , just like me, i will get ksm because it’s easier now and then unsub till 10.1.5

Just a bump, i remember you being so worried about farming flight stones and me telling you not to worry about it xD …
But yea, they might as well not exist.

Well from what you describw this game is indeks not for you . And its ok to tak a break from it. I took break on season one skipped entire 10.0.5 and now i have playing m+ again  plus i got my body nicely lean and ready for summer from 3 months of extensive gym workouts :stuck_out_tongue:

it’s not like a break for me tbh, i’ll renew sub for stories and other bits from time to time but have no intention to play wow as the main game i play anymore. at least not until they re-design the end-game content

Then dont - taking breaks is great.

Or to go further - quitting a game you dislike for games you feel more drawn to is the way to go.

That’ll take ages, if at all.
