My prediction for DF M+ (A disaster)

M+ still will not be competitive with raiding.

M+ DID have a way to get Mythic raid gear, it was called Titanforging and it worked, so you are wrong.

This change pleases no one. Hardcore M+ players will still be forced to raid:

And casual M+ players will fnd themselves in an inflated annoying keystone system which will be more toxic than ever. BFA s1 was a disaster for M+, and I predict this season will be too.

In fact this decision is Classic Blizzardā„¢ where they make a decision that will just annoy the entire playerbase to please Mythic raiders by making the rest of the game worse.

Also just as a note. PERSONALLY I actually loved S1 BFA, and loved the challenge to get the best gear, but I almost had no one in my guild to play with. I will enjoy the challenge of pushing all the way up to +20s to get the best gear on my Prot Warrior or BdK. However for the majority of the playerbase? Yes, I smell disaster, yet again.

Yep they really hate the fact that mythic plus is much more enjoyable and its a favourite activity of players in game. They are ready to destroy IT all just so sweaty nerds WHO live in their parents basement after 30 have a better feeling baout themsleves just because they RAID mythic.

Instead nerfing raids to the ground they destroy m+

The new seasonal affix is the worst affix released since m+ was released, pridefull stun on 5 people when some of the hardest overlaps are happening is hilariously out of touch, add on top off this an additonal 8 ā†’ 10% scaling and an full gear reset, DF m+ season 1 is gonna be very humbling and extremely punishing for an lot of players. Doing an +10 in 278 gear season 4 isnt even comparable to doing an +10 in season 1 wearing 190.

Well, Everything have proā€™s and cons. I never thought it made that much sense to have keys this relatively easy rewarding mythic raid ilvl loot. Allthough just 1 a week so gearing will never finish during a season.

But i also know this is the end of my casual raiding guild. Since they are not timing high keys but they need the gear to finish the (heroic) raid. We currently were able to finish the raid somewhere in the last month of a season (with s3 literally on the last sunday of the season). So this is not going to happen anymore.

The key Word is "relatively ".

For majority of playerbase what you consider easy if mission impossibiru.

Problem is not with +15 difficulty only with how idiotic overtuned raids are for last couple of years.

I really miss the tuning of raids from mop / wod they were so much playerfriendly .

First tier of df is dead on arrival. Personaly i dont Care as first tier is when i focus on leveling alts not on doing m+ on alts but now i know i gotta pick meta class as my main regardless of i like IT or not. Because i wont be able to Play m+ on non meta chars .

Shame to destroy what people enjoy just because players dont want to RAID.

Did that really change? You can still only get one reward from the vaultā€¦ Regardless of how many boxes you fill

Yes. In BFA you only needed to do 1 key and you got a weekly reward. Completely random, so low chance the item is actually good. With more options in your weekly chest from multiple sources, the chances for a good item per week got up.

You only had to do one key before and your weekly chore was done. So yes it changed.

There is nothing to stop people from only generating one choice but that does not mean it is the same thing.

You are not required to do moreā€¦ Only if you want to have more choice out of the one item per weekā€¦

And you do not even need to do a key. Kill a couple of raidbosses and you also got a vault.

Interesting that theyā€™ve put the post about this on the community council forums in the US and not somewhere that we can all post feedback. Makes you think they know how the community will respond.

Since I canā€™t post my feedback on the official post, Iā€™ll have to put it here and hope a miracle happens and someone from Blizz actually reads it.

Usually my feedback is carefully written and constructive even when I donā€™t have anything particularly positive to say. Considering the total lack of respect weā€™ve been shown over the mythic plus changes, I shall return that in kind.

Perhaps the biggest change coming in Dragonflight is that weā€™ll be rotating the entire set of Mythic+ dungeons every season.

Iā€™ve talked about this a lot. Iā€™ve talked about how awful it feels to be locked out of current expansion content for the entirety of season one. Seems no-one at Blizz cares about that.

  • Providing primary Mythic+ players with more of the sense of exploration and progression each season that Raiders get to enjoy with new raidsā€¦
  • Keeping the level of effort required to get the best rewards consistent season over season.

Iā€™m one of those ā€˜primary mythic plus playersā€™.

I love mythic plus. Itā€™s the reason I play WoW. The thought that I may have to give it up over this fills me with sadness. Iā€™ll explainā€¦

Iā€™ll admit my problem here is somewhat personal, but Iā€™m sure it applies to others as well.

Everyone learns new dungeons, routes and mechanics at a different rate. Sadly, Iā€™m one of the slow learners. Worse, I find the early stages of the learning process (when Iā€™m struggling to get to grips with whatā€™s going on and my head feels like Iā€™m stumbling through fog) very stressful and demanding in terms of mental energy required. I can handle that level of stress in mythic plus, along with the resulting mental fatigue - just about - once every 2 years at the beginning of an expansion. Iā€™m not sure that Iā€™ll be able to handle it once every 6 months.

Iā€™ve never considered cancelling my subscription before. I may have to over this, if I find WoW starts to have a negative impact on my health.

Seasonal affixes:

  • Play a key role in shaking up gameplay. Weā€™re asking you to play the same dungeons for well over a year, and adding new twists helps keep them feeling fresh.

Well, yeah. If the dungeons are rotating, thereā€™s no point in keeping the seasonal affixes fun and interesting. Itā€™s a shame, but whatever.

Iā€™m also indifferent to the changes to rewards, upgrade levels and affixes. I donā€™t think theyā€™ll have much impact on the way people who enjoy mythic plus play. Of course, theyā€™ll make the ā€˜weekly keyā€™ much more challenging and put more token money in your pockets from people buying +20 boosts instead of +15. Well done, Blizz. Good financial decision there.

I can see these changes absolutely killing AotC guilds since they wont be able to slightly outgear heroic raids.

Might end up getting people to outright quit if they arenā€™t able to just chill with their chosen guild and casually progress raids.

This change is killing all the game for Anyone WHO is no mythic raider or ,+25 player ATM .

Its Beyond horrible but in line with many of changes in game in recent years.

DF was already shaping up to be extremely boring unfun expansion . With this decision they conpellty obliterated any reason to Play DF for 90 percent of potential players

The amount of people doing +20ā€™s in season 1 is already really low. In s2 we got to timing up to +22 and we were in the top 2% worldwide. Weā€™ll see how it is scaling in DF.

Isnā€™t a +15 still enough to get heroic equivalent gear from the end of dungeon chest and up to lower mythic raid gear out of the Vault?

No one forces you to do the highest available key level. You do the one on your level.
