Like you can get full 405 if you run +20 with a decent group.
Takes a while but it is possible.

Versus

1-3 items normal gear, 1-3 items heroic (chance of items higher than 405) , (1-2 items mythic, only if Mythic isn’t again overturned)

405 ilvl is between low heroic and mid heroic.
So you still out gear the raid

I did not. I said it’s infinitely farmable.

And it pretty much invalidates heroic raiding, outside the occasional thing like a set bonus or trinket. A couple item levels doesn’t matter in the long run.

I wasn’t even talking about the vault, and from what I heard, the droppable loot is going up to mythic quality in the expansion, hence my concern.

The problem with M+ giving gear is that it’s farmable. Massively farmable. And when you can get mythic quality gear from something that’s farmable easily, it invalidates three whole difficulty levels of raiding.

This leads to no skill people trying to do mythic raids to round out their trinkets and weapons or whatever has the best stats for them, and failing miserably because they can’t do mechanics(once the pugs start, anyway).

Mythic raid gear doesn’t have the opposite problem oddly enough. Most mythic raiders do keys anyway.

I’m of the mindset that M+ gear needs to have some sort of drop off to it, but how to handle the flood of gear vs the desire to do them is beyond me right now.

I’ve always had a problem with people being able to completely skip normal and heroic raiding just by doing five mans.

IMHO Imora was talking about an IF case.

Like If Mythic Raid equivalent gear was farmable in M+

Guess you mixed things up.

I’m only doing M+ up to the score required for the mount reward. Mounts matters.

Its not difficult. I am a slow old man and i was able to do +20 keys in the last 2 seasons.
It just requires concentration and practice.

Mythic raiding and super high mythic + keys are too sweaty for me, but I still want the items with the highest ilvl. If this is hows its gonna be I guess Im just doing something else with my time.

They arent super high you only have to do 20’s.
