Mythic+ changes

One of the worst things right now is on tyrannical bosses when in the first minute you realise the dps is bad and you’re never timing.

That’s what LFR is for. If Blizzard is really moving in this direction though, that means they’re more detached from their playerbase than ever, and that’s saying something because Shadowlands was so bad in this regard that even they had to publicly admit it.

1: the glory days of raiding are long gone, and most people just don’t have the time or the motivation to sit in front of the game as if it was a second job, as preparing to constantly perform at their possible peaks is a massive chore for the most part. Dragonflight was just the perfect middle ground as you could get to any itemlevel you wanted in whatever game mode you wanted, and you were free to ignore parts of the game you didn’t like.

2: mythic raiding guilds take themselves too seriously (because there really is no other way to be fair) to be accesible to everyone, and they usually want already unattainable levels of experience to even consider an application. Sure you can always join an up and coming new raiding guild, but then you’ll be hardstuck on the first couple bosses 99% of the time until the guild falls apart, which hardly is a good return of invested resources, let alone justification.

Already the first changes to M+ (squish keys 2-20 to 2-10) were inappropriate, as they took away gradual progression for players.
The current tuning of dungeons is very high. If you add to this the fact that upgrade stages have been increased, progression becomes terribly time gated and slow.

The crest and mythic track gear rewards should go back to previous ones (i.e. from +9 to +6 crest, from +10 to +8 mythic gear gv).

An additional misunderstanding is the price of the [Nascent Gilded Harbinger Crest] (to craft spark items 636) - 90 crests? That is as much as 6 normal upgrade gear, an awful lot…

A big misunderstanding on the World of Warcraft groups is also the change of tokens transforming lower crests to higher ones (90->15) - in the previous season they didn’t count towards the weekly cap, this season they do. It’s a bit pointless, as the lowest crests are already accumulating in the hundreds, and by the end of the season it’ll be thousands/some thousands - whereas they could be used to very gently accelerate progression for players who do activities from each level.
