this might be a spessific issue but ever since DOS players like me who are one handed becouse of a number of defrent disbilities are bassicly playing with a extra affixe just attempted a 19 VP with the quite expirienced grp the jump mechanic on the last boss for me means stop playing bassicly ( playing only with the mouse) and still being able to reach my goals but the amount of health and dmg going out from those adds means that no matter if i sucseed or fail the jump death is 100% imo and with pugs this not only can lead to harasment ( as it did a number of times) but also just forcing us to avoid set dungeon even if we find the rest of it fun and enjoyable one saluttion would be give us a extra action botton or something to “use” to dispel or force jump or makeing abilities that couse your charecter to be in the air coutas jumping inferno strike VR heroic leap etc
i mean why the h3ck you dont bind jump to one of your mouse modifiers?
hard to imagine never using any jump in wow, even outaide of this specific dungeon.
also sorry to say but cannot design a game for people that cannot use a keyboard and mouse…
next up people will ask that i cannot play properly with a steering wheel and gas pedal

because no one should cater to minority of people 
You have specific problem try to fix it by yourself for example
RAZER TARTARUS PRO you can have everything on that little thing
you can bind jump to different key
you can do a lot of things
Just don’t use your disability to change game
Cant you bind jump to a mouse button? That seems like the easiest solution.

There’s only as much buttons one can put on their mouse. I agree with OP, jumping mechanics have no place in WoW. I’ll go play super mario if I want to play a jumping game.
I’m sure op has thought about it, that’s why I was asking if there’s a reason they cannot do so.
While there are limited mousebuttons, jumping is the only action in the game you can’t put on your our action bar and click. So for now the only solution is to bind it to a mouse button.
That being said, a clickable jump button or macro would be ideal.
Even if you could put it on your actionbar, jumping is an extremely tight window in WoW. You better have e-sports accuracy and speed in your mouse if you want to suddenly click on a jump button.
It’s more niche than shattering throw for warrior…
