Mythic+ timer

This looks like you hate game as a whole, not only m+… Maybe thats a you problem, maybe you should change game then…

Only 20 ilvls off and it’s been a friggin blast. If it wasn’t I wouldn’t be playing the game would I?

The timer is one of the defining features of M+, if you don’t like that maybe M+ is not for you or you need to content yourself to running weeklies and simply not caring about the timer.

Either way it boils down to a you problem, not a game problem.

The timer is the main factor which dictates keys. It creates this self-determined difficulty. If you’re at the proper power level and skill level, you should have zero problems clearing a dungeon in time. It’s not just to rush you, but to help you understand where you stand on the scale of an infinitely scaling difficulty.

The timer makes it a challenge, without it you could just aswell remove m+ alltogether.

Without a timer, people would probably take longer to do them.
How is adding a timer making it slow?

Thats a personal opinion.

Many players seem to enjoy M+ and the challenges it brings along, and i am one of them.

Took me a weekend on my demo lock in 8.2 to get to HC raid ilvl. YMMV ofc

BRD and old sunken temple are the only ones that actually took long time if you were going to do everything.

Yea they are perfect examples.

Now take something not from classic, lets say, gundrak, HoR, trial of crusade (idk if thats dungeon or other one) or maybe grim batol, temple of jade serpent or whatever realy.

Now imagine all those dungeons with dmg/hp like of lets say +15 dungeon which is 245% afaik.

Do you think those dungeons will take same? They will take waaay to longer, now we can do m20 in 30mins because we have game adjusted to it, remove timer and u ruin whole content

None of those took long time. The argent crusade one is probably the fastest dungeon in the game along with azjol-nerub.

If any of these took a long time to do, your group wasn’t good. I’ve done those instances far more than I’ve done any mythic plus in bfa as I was the most active in wotlk.

Yea they took like 15-20 min, on HC, now adds mythic +245% hp/dmg and tell me again how ez it will all be cuz u did it on wotlk on hc…

Once again, game now is adjusted to it, and without timer we will see soo long dungeons.

Just look at KR31 as example, they were not gona time it, they knew it, it took like 1:50hour to finish it, one dungeon, 2 hours… U see my point now? Or need something more?

Even with 250% more damage/hp they’d still be fast. +250% more damage on top of almost no damage is still no damage. All it would do is make you take a little longer on bosses/trash, not put you in danger of dying at any time. You could crank the damage up by 300% and it wouldn’t be dangerous even.

Yea if u think that +245% of dmg wouldnt bring u to any danger then i guess we have nothing to talk about.

Also u completly gona ignore best evidence why timer is needed i just provided you?

It won’t in those dungeons. There was no damage in the first place, adding 245% to pretty much no damage in the first place still isn’t a threat.

Yea keep changing subject, dmg might not be problem, but 245% of HP is definitely gona slow you down, by like 245%…

Also, u still ignoring…

It’s only gonna make the dungeon take maybe 20-30 minutes instead of 5-10, if even that.

I don’t know why you act like these instances were long. They weren’t. Even the longest one of them in wotlk only took like 20 minutes to complete.

Compare that to the hours you spent in BRD or old sunken temple and they’re not long at all.

Now adds 245% of HP and u will spend there one hour… Nice

Now, shall we finaly go back to topic where u actualy react to what i said about ehy there needs to be timer, with evidence provided, or u simply gona ignore it cuz u have nothing to say to it?

There doesn’t need to be a timer. That’s just your assertion.

You said:

We didn’t spend ages in dungeons at any point after vanilla. Even if there was no timer. This notion that people would spend ages in dungeons and waiting for CDs after each pull is just ridiculous. We didn’t do that in the past before timers.

Tell me again how there isnt needed a timer, imagine u wanna do your +15 weekly and u spend there 3 hours…

I wouldn’t join or stay in a group that spends 3 hours in the first place. There is no timer in the raid, I still don’t join raids that would take the whole day to clear it.
