Iāve updated the opening post with approximate times for the different activities. Since we have many of them on both days, the opening speech will be held at 19:45 on both days so that the activities can start promptly around 20:00.
Iām fairly new to this neutral RP event thing, so my question is how does it work? Do we finally have cross-faction communication and emotes? Just wondering if I should join with my Alliance character or Horde one.

Iāll make a note of it at the bottom of the opening post as well so thank you for reminding that not everyone might be familiar with the item.
While the elixir does not allow you to see the TRP of players from the opposite faction, it goes a long way to help crossfaction interactions. For an activity like Moonball there will be a crossfaction raid for OOC communication.
For this, I recommend installing CrossRP, it allows you to see the TRP profiles of players from the alliance and vice versa. Doesnt require any setup beside installing it via your favourite mod manager.
Welcome to visit! Iām afraid thereās no time for a story gathering activity with the current scheduled festive activities already lasting late into the night. Perhaps youād like to organize a story event of your own on Sunday or the following week?
Iāll be hosting another of my own Story Night events on next weekās Friday if youāre interested in such gatherings, and the next one after that might happen closer to the Lunar Festival dates anyway that would suit focusing stories on heroes of the past.
I think I just might do that. I enjoy a good story night, and with the influx of neutral rp this event will bring, itād be a good idea to have a story night dedicated to stories from both factions. February is so far in the future that I donāt think thereās any plans that will stop me.

The Lunar Festival holds a special place in my heart being the first community event that I ever went to back in 2022 and having been given the chance to host an event back in 2023. Iām ever grateful that Acrona continues the great tradition this coming year

Iāve updated the catering section of the event to welcome neutral pandaren characters who might be interested in taking on this role in the central building. Given that the Lunar Festival, and the many event rewards, draw so much inspiration from the Chinese New Year and the Chinese aesthetic, Iād love to see pandaren included.

For those visually inclined, Iāll also host a Lunar Festival themed art prompt on social media platforms. Itās an opportunity to showcase outfits and scenes inspired by the festival! In the past years people have joined with so many inspiring designs and moments that I canāt wait to see what they might come up with this time. Will share more information on it closer to January.
