[N-RP] The Monthly Storytelling Night 📜

I will keep RP-ing at the events I love so well and I will gladly report every event again, only for not being bothered. And when the same chars shows up again and again, I just hope Blizz will stock these reports till a banwave at october 27th

To turn the discussion into something more positive, I greatly enjoyed my time there. It was a small surprise to be the first to present on my first time there, but I did it. And contrary to what Soon in-character said, I improvised the story on the spot. But I have one planned for next time already.

Another month, another gathering!

And, once more, I am shopping for new easily accessible and neutral-friendly event locations.

Sick of Gadgetzan, or just wanting to avoid the aforementioned nuisance?

nothing stops him from following us the wherever we go, likely he knows where we were from the forums in the first place

To be honest 90% of the time I don’t even register said nuisance! It’s more about the ambience and atmosphere. Gadgetzan is nice, but I think our gathering deserves a nicer location.

Something like the Filthy Animal wouldn’ve been great if not for the atrocious accessibility! Here’s hoping some nice and immersive location will pop up sometime.

Pandaria seems a fitting place in my opinion! I’m not really a fan of using Dalaran because as much as I love it, it’s also the laggiest thing on Earth and just causes too much frustration.

There’s also Cataclysm zones, perhaps. Underneath the boughs of Nor’drassil? On a small farm by a desert oasis? In the rugged hills of the highlands?

(Trying to think of places with easy portal access  )

I’ll be coming along on my rogue tonight. Is there any decision on where it’s going to be taking place?

Due to Yom Kippur, I cannot show up today.

Until a new location is found, the event will be happening in the usual location.

So… prepatch is here! Shadowlands will soon be here! Since this is a unique moment for RPers to run events revolving around the current events, a social gathering which can happen anytime over the year (like the Monthly Storytelling Night) naturally receives a significantly lower priority.

For this reason the November edition of the event is officially cancelled. See you next month!

I think if people have some free time we could try to make an even, it will just be lower scaled, instead of canceled.

Dark times ahead! The Scourge is back, the sky is shattered, and the spirit world is in a turmoil. You could say that death is all the rage these days…

The next storytelling night will have a special section dedicated to the departed, so that participants who wish to honour their late friends/family/enemies by telling their stories will have an opportunity to do so.

A thing is not beautiful because it lasts. Alara’shinu. Life is like a flower – I wonder if death is too? I shall join the circle of stories.

Hello! Is the event 2020-12-27 canceled? Been here since 19:50, WM off, but no one is around… did I miss something?

Attendance is predicted to be very low this month since tonight’s poor Story Night is sitting ducks right between Christmas/NYE break (to the point even yours truly is not around tonight…), but I’m sure there should be someone out there to RP with!

Apologies for the unlucky timing.
