Though the Dragon Isles hold the potential of treasure, renown and the ancient secrets of Dragonkind, they are not the only lands bearing promise. Out in the world of Azeroth there are still countless stories, eons-old artifacts and plunder to be found, and the Stray Embers, for themselves and for their patrons, strive to do so.
The Stray Embers is a small but growing organisation consisting of all walks of life, bringing together those with a wanderlust, desire to explore and see the hidden reaches of the world or simply get paid under a simple joint goal - The discovery, acquisition and deliverance of “Things” for a myriad of enigmatic and strange patrons. From the swamps of Nazmir to the long-forgotten tombs of Uldum, the Embers travel, explore and delve into long-hidden mysteries, battle monsters of old, and acquire bespoke magical artifacts of all manners.
OOC Info: The Stray Embers is a neutral adventuring guild created in the summer of 2023. Formed with personalised storylines and character-based narratives in mind, The Embers spend much of their time out in many of the different zones and regions of Azeroth, delving into long-forgotten tombs, dungeons and ruins to recover various artifacts, magical items and other shiny loots, both for themselves and for their patrons - A handful of mysterious, enigmatic individuals of significant diplomatic, political or outright magical power.
All races and classes from either faction are generally accepted, and we do our best to remain in neutral spaces on a gameplay level as to allow everyone to attend events rather than locking to horde or alliance side. We currently run one event per week on the weekend for our members, but as we grow, of course, we’ll be looking to expand that to more days with other storylines. When not running events, we can be found gathering across various spots in Dalaran (though we do have an IC safehouse in which we use certain raid instances as a guild until we establish a suitable outdoor-world hub.)
Whilst there is a guild heraldry, we do not have or require uniforms of any kind (though wearing the tabard or matching coloured armour is of course, brownie points!). Our IC leadership outside of the patrons functions on a more advisory level - Whilst the liasons - officers - have final say, a more hands-off approach is preferred as to allow all to offer equal input into anything the Stray Embers may come across.
Our recruitment process consists of an OOC interview and then, with luck, a follow-up IC interaction in which you’ll be recruited, should you be a good fit for the guild.
If you’re interested in helping us grow and being a part of the family - or if you have any other queries - please feel free to contact Cassyla, Kolanji or Kiavi whenever you see them online!
