NAKED BOTS FARM ZULGURUB ! Is everything okay BLIZZARD?

I hope the EU forum will pay attention to this. Many naked bots farm Zul’Gurub. I saw all these bots in just 1 HOUR! Reports have been sent, but how many are still in the dungeon and on other servers! Blizzard, start banning bots!

What’s up with ppl being angry that someone paid 198k for pixels?

It’s not the fact per se, it’s just further proof that ppl either buy golds or use bots to farm them.

Whats up with ppl thinking someone is angry bc he spoke the truth in a pixel forum?

People seem upset and if you can’t answere the question why do you even bother to reply?

I was genuienly interested in why people care about it.

I can’t say my gameplay is affected by bots, I don’t use AH to buy stuff and I hardly sell anything other than a few herbs here and there.

Part from selling gold:
How does Bots affect the game?
Driving AH prices down?
Locking down nodes?

I dont pay much attention to these bots, then again I cant say our server is heavly affected…or maybe I’m just blind.

AH prices and outdoor resources are heavily impacted which means that ppl who need that farm for consumables to raid or to buy them get dragged in the gold race.

Personally I’m able to save few golds and that because I can spend a lot of my weekends to farm, otherwise I’d be in trouble.

To make an example, the medium cost of Flasks in Vanilla used to be 25g. Add the bots and the min-max attitude and you have today’s prices.

Most importantly, the (majority of) the players DO NOT CARE. The servers that are heavily affected by botting also happen to be the servers that have gbid on idols in every ZG pug, weekly GDKP raids with absurd amounts of gold being distributed, the most amount of mage boosters, etc… let’s not kid ourselves, this is a problem (except it’s not a problem to a lot of players as they simply don’t care or even benefit) created by the community on these servers.

I agree.

But look. GDKP is a good loot system. Ok could be. Without bought gold.
Imagine a healthy economy without a single bought cooper and booster mages. Imagine a GDKP where the Azurebalde goes for 100g and not 1000g.
100g is still a lot of gold. At least for me

Agreed. Many players have already started to look for a tbc server. I know some guilds planning to go.

Because actibilizzion’s tbc will be a botting fiesta. We all know it.

We will see armament, badge, rep, dungeon, fishing bots everywhere. Because tbc was famous with its botting areas/opportunities. Private servers offer much more fair gameplay.

I dont wanna see at lfg channel: “WTB warglaives for 1.000.000 gold!”

This is a loop created by botting.

Guilds and individuals need to gather golds in order to craft consumables/res gear and with prices inflated by farming bots and AH bots you need a freaking high amount of them and you either buy them or do GDKP stuff.

Bots, gdkp-fest, boost-fiesta.
People at least somehow defending or saying it doesn’t affect the game already have their brains dead.
To resolve the issue, money should be spend and a work should be carrried out - its not the case for blizzard, they are ok at the current state of the game, while people giving them money. Cheap bastards.

Why do you even care about GDKP runs, as long as it’s just pugs? I don’t know of any guild run that uses GDKP as a looting system.

Plus, I’d like to know which servers have all these GDKP runs, because I’ve never seen one here on Mirage Raceway - and it’s not exactly a small server either.

TBC doesn’t even have the same expensive consumables Vanilla has. Sure, it still isn’t as cheap/casual as WotLK, but there’s nothing like Black Lotus carving a hole into your wallet either. Most of TBC’s gold needs are frontloaded - craftables, flying mount, etc. Once you get those out of the way, it’s not hard to keep up without having to buy gold or w/e.

Bots will bot, sure, maybe, but I doubt it’s gonna put the game experience out of reach for anyone - unlike in Classic.

Yup you are right. But it is not so simple.

The main problem is that:
Bots are killing the game’s world content, bots are killing guilds, bots are killing bgs, bots are killing the game itself… Bots are making idle many core aspects of an mmorpg.

Because of bots, people doesnt go out for farming, no open world mmorpg struggles/stories over resources. People doesnt join -or be loyal- guilds because just buying gold and joining gdkp runs is much easier way to get gear. There is a huge community who dont go out main cities for months because they dont need to, thanks to bots. 40 man raid guilds got 2-3 online at other days, because bots are already farming for them. etcetc…

It is already experienced in mmorpg history several times.
Many games died by excessive bot invasion and actiblizzion wow is passing by that point atm.
Bots kill the genre itself by destroying “massively multiplayer” part.

Again, I have yet to see this kind of GDKP galore you talk about. Maybe you just picked the wrong server… or I picked the right one, depending on how you want to look at it. And I don’t know of anyone on my server who has ever managed to regularly flask without farming for gold and resources by themselves - me included.
