It can’t be THAT hard for other classes with all this fantasy-power Torghast grants you that a nearly powerless Monk complete it and they can’t.
You have Poly on all specs and Fire has a disorient. Frost has slows, and even blinking enemies stay rooted if you used frost nova on them.
You can get an extra barrier from three different sources with anima powers (blink, poly and barrier) plus you can get DR on interrupt (15% per power.) Out of 30+ possible powers the chance of you not getting either of these is extremely small.
This is also not counting on using defensive conduits if you choose to take them.

It’s one thing you can’t do in a hurry. For me it takes time to carefully clear a floor. Guess the complaints are because they can’t pull an entire room and kill them off.
Lately everything needs to be rushed and well Torghast can’t be rushed.

I don’t pretend to be more than I am, I raid causally and as tank I steamroll all this content solo. However my commend stands, he’s obviously a better/more committed player than most so ofc he can do stuff many other less intense players can not.

That’s a brilliant idea. Every month Blizz should allow only top 1000 players to play the game. Everyone else should just go on the training dummy and get good. And each month, lowest players in the top of 100 are downgraded to dummy hitters, while top 100 dummy hitters are promoted as wow players.
Then have someone from their class spec tell them that.
When I posted how hard I found clearing layer 3 last week as outlaw at 150, I don’t think a 160 hunters hot takes on how easy it is actually means piss all.
That’s all I’m saying.
EDIT re your power comment if those three powers were good, it bloody mattered. Did you see a majority of rogue powers last week? you could add them all up and theyd still make leas difference to a boss fight than a single common mage or monk power. the only onea remotely worth using at that stage were assuming you picked echoing reprimand and the epic one for hook and SS. the rest whilst a buff, were pathetic.
do people honestly think blizzard just buffed rogue powers because coincidentally 90% of rogues sucked and moaned and they chose to listen to them but not listen to the warlocks, mages, hunters or other classes whom moaned?
ill iterate, i was never advocating for nerfing torghast, and i got my layer 3 done in the first week as outlaw without echoing reprimand at 150ilevel but it was a bloody hard slog. The people enjoying their oneshot powers or heal a quarter or your hp can cry git gud all they like. those of us who cleared it with measly buffs to our abilities and woeful defensive buffs but got it done know how good we are. its just the presumptive advocacy around it all is bloody annoying.

Did other classes have such stringent spec and covenant demands on them being able to solo torghast last week? I don’t think so.
Yet I did it anyway. So I’m happy for Elahri, but if they think my 6ilevel made more of a difference than their 400% finisher buff and their 20pt supercharge ability then good for them but I don’t need people who believe 7 stamina makes or breaks a run to that degree to think they’re in a position to act like they’re offering the L2P advice when I got it done without that stuff.

may not be what you’re looking for, but I was also starting to struggle a lil bit this week as frost because lack of single target dmg due to my low ilvl of 145, so I went arcane, and even without the invis cheesing I managed to clear the bosses relatively easily with just some normal dmg powers and reduced AB cast time to help me burn down boss before my mana was oom.
for trash I just tried to line up rune of power + arcane orb and kill stuff with double arcane barrages, then used things like lust and arcane power for all the big elite packs.
there are youtube movies where people do them in 5 minutes - while having 6 powers …
it is l2p issue.
