Hello, blizz and guyz, we are in 2020, its not aceptable to have 20 yards range max cap. People are already using hacks to change it, i dot want to. So please make it happen legaly, TY
Classic is a recreation of 2006 World of Warcraft.
people are just hacking it, so we that play it fair are handicapped
Just like in 2005 no? ;p
You know out of all the crying about features and content this has to be STUPIDEST one yet. No barbershop, no transmog, no faction change, no distance change, no herb re-spawn time change. Non of it. Enough. You and everyone else KNEW what classic is. You joined on your own no one made you. If you don’t like it DON’T PLAY IT. Simple as that. Now enough with the STUPID requests.
Hello You know we HAD 40 yard nameplates and blizz nerfed em to 20 ye ??
So stop moaning cause Blizz changed it IN CLASSIC already
What does it being 2020 have to do with any of this?
Isn’t it supposed to be 2006 in Classic?
Not by a long shot tho. We didn’t have the talents and gear from the start back then.
We didn’t have x-realm BG’s from Day 1 of BG’s back then either.
The “perfect recreation from 2006” hasn’t been true from day 1.
Bad argument.
20 yard nameplates are just as dumb as 400ms spell batching. Recreating bad game elements that add nothing to the game and that nobody enjoys just because…that’s how it was 15 years ago due to technical limitations. So dumb.
It’s not like asking for dual specs or WoW tokens but some peeps are too fanatical and narrow minded to tell the difference.
I made sure to be specific about the year (and so was Blizzard when then talked about it at Blizzcon). Classic is based on patch 1.12.1 in 2006 when those things was implemented. Vanilla was released in 2004.
20y range on nameplates was part of every vanilla patch as far as I know and should part of Classic for an authentic as possible experience.
That’s a silly comment. Spell Batching is important for authentic gameplay especially in pvp. It was implement and are emulated in Classic just because the community asked for it and showed how important it is. It was originally not in Classic. You can agree or disagree but it’s silly to act like if Blizzard did this “just because”…
becouse for 2020 it makes no sense, it was a feature for 2004 becouse it made the game easier to run in any pc, ( if theres less nameplates on the screen it means it frees up some ram memory , too litle to make a diference today, but in 2004 pc had 600 mb to 2 gb and not 18 or more gbs, also ram was under more heavy load cuz of cpu was s)hitier
