Naxx difficulty

Does anyone know how difficult the early naxx bosses are compared to aq40 end bosses like twins, cthunn and viscidus?

Does a guild need to have geared up on cthunn loot before they can hope to start naxx or can you work on both side by side?

You can probably kill Early Bosses just fine, some of the trash is harder then early bosses (just like AQ). Some fights have more mechanics then just tank n spank, but they are easy when you know how to do it.
If you can’t clear AQ you might still kill Anub, faerlina, maexxna, noth and razuvious.

Saph, KT and 4HM are the main fights that are harder than AQ. If you can kill the harder bosses of AQ, you can kill the easier bosses of Naxx.

Early Naxx bosses were meant to be easier than the late AQ40 bosses. And they are. I heard that in 2006, many guilds were 7/9 AQ but 6+/15 Naxx.

Yes, it was rather common for serious raiding guilds to be stuck on Cthun and 4 horsemen for example, while clearing everything else. If you are capable of killing Twins and CT, you stand a good chance of clearing all the way to 4H on first night, assuming you read the tactics and brougt relevant consumes.
If you killed Visc as Alliance first reset, you will clear Naxx first reset as well.

I’m in a guild that killed C’thun after 8 weeks or so. What is your prognosis on Naxx then?

You’ll probably still have an easy time with half of the instance.

Obviously you’ll struggle with Saph, KT and 4HM. If it took you a while to clear the raid because you don’t use protection potions and what not, you’ll likely struggle with Loatheb.

If your delayed progression is because of people not paying attention, then Heigan and Thaddius will prove tricky.

Patchwerk is sort-of a gear check, but he’s also a healer and tank check. He hits like a truck, so be ready for it.
