Hi guys. I’m a bit confused and need advice how to proceed. I’m prot warrior in a good guild on PvE realm, but don’t have permanent spot in raids. As usuall we have more then enough tanks. Currently our guild don’t have enough active members for 2x40 man raids.
On the last raid I didn’t get a spot i MC raid and had to PUG it. In that PUG I got one of the left Bindings Nobody in the guild have any of them yet. Guild master and raid leader are also prot warrs and are first in list to loot them if they drop. And here comes the question:
Does this change the situation somehow? Should I be the guy, that deserve to get the other part if drop or not?
I should tell you that I don’t have neither the gold or the materials to “kiss” the blades. The guild master and raid leader have all the guild behind them. Everybody gather materials for them and all the special loot from raids are going to them.
Its obvious, that I will not get the other binding before they both have complete weapon. So what is your suggestion? Should I try to find another guild or the situation probably will looks the same?
Meed am advice how to proceed? Well if you dont have a raid spot then you need to find a guild that gives you one.
If the guild would not give the prio for bindings it would just be stupid of them, but cant blame them its their guild and their rules. You either integrate into their rules or you will find a new guild, what is best for yourself
Absolutely
Problem is most guilds will have the bindings reserved for GMs or friends of the GM so even if you join another guild you may still find that you won’t get the binding even though you already have one half.
If your able to commit to raids then realistically they should give it to you first but I doubt that will happen.
Best thing to do is either:
A) Make your own raiding guild or pug MC and let people know its reserved.
B) Ask the guild you plan to join if you would have priority on that specific binding if it drops.
But a lot of guilds will be hesitant just in case you up and leave after you’ve got the binding after they’ve emptied the guild bank for you.
Gratz though!
Yeah, the GM of the guild should now start farming mats & gold so that you can get Thunderfury first, perks of being the GM after all! Grats dude, first come first serve
I noticed a lot of people that were making guilds in classic are prot warriors. Its a mystery
Stop trying to attend guild MC and start organizing weekly MC pug. Reserve the missing binding.
The only good part about this game is the leveling. Being a slave to some guild is not my idea of fun. Being social and licking some guys balls in hopes of getting loot… yikes
I’d much rather level each class to 60 and then spam dungeons and bg’s
Casuals really do get the short end of the stick in Classic, both in PvP and PvE.
Can’t wait for TBC just saying.
Towelliee was right, Classic is like being on welfare and TBC is like finally getting a job.
I really don’t know. I like my guild and most of the ppl in it. I’m loyal to the guys, that made it and that’s why it’s hard to leave it. On the other side when you know, that you will not get the other binding until GM and RL got their full set… it’s discouraging…
Most of the guilds got plenty of tanks and will be even harder to find a spot.
Why are you going to the forums instead of going to the guild with this “issue” the thing that makes you go to the forums instead is probably the first sign that you are in the wrong guild already
LOL no wonder I’m not in any guild and won’t be, every MMORPG is so full of these type of “only the leader and officer rank matters everyone else is a slave” … just like in real life at a company, the workers are just slaves.
At least in a game, people please be smart enough and don’t be a sheep, don’t support guilds like that, do not join, and leave the guild if the guild members don’t belive in the “we are all equal” rule!
