Iād definitely go for something like this if it were along the lines of a military based theme, say for example a guild based around surviving members of the Lordaeron Guards or one themed around Stormwindās military.
I have actually looked for something along these lines in the past on several other realms, but they are either dead or simply do not exist any longer
I have also considered creating one of my own, however Blizzard have pretty much destroyed the guild system by neglecting it to the point of it being pointless beyond raiding or rollplay, which would also explain the paragraph above.
Sounds like an interesting research project. Best of luck with it.
Did you add mine? Or is this one of those āsponsoredā type of researches? Where youāre wanting a certain result so answers will be cherry picked?
Yeah, just like the Klan has great memories of their gatherings.
A well-tailored military guild with uniforms that rocks world PvP would be awesome; perhaps not in the Stormwind set, since you always become more memorable by having custom made transmogs, as I imagine you would craft one to your taste.
If anything, if you are thinking about moving realms, I warmly welcome you to Argent Dawn, as recently there is an astonishing world PvP scene blooming there, both alliance and horde.
Personally Iām never down to follow a specific uniform even for guild activities, let alone rename.
On the other hand, since I donāt care about raids since WOTLK, I would join a guild that propose fun activities.
Not a big fan of you guys tbh but thanks for the drama you create, itās always fun to see when I pass through SW people trying to group up to clean the mess. Something I never see on other servers.
Also, should avoid the kills while on loading screen for these folks in the TP room, thatās cheesy afš but I get thatās the only place you might see a concentration of players with WM on.
What makes me happy is still being able to find people on AD who can politely disagree with you without screeching.
Your answer is seen as of very high quality and I will cite your valuable answer in my research.
As per the portal roomā¦ Thereās something pleasing in making a room fully concentrated with player bones. We are the forsaken, after all, and we like those aesthetics.
If you where doing a real sociology research you would never use words like SJW. It is a bland word used by the uneducated mass, with no deep meaning or truth to it. I guess you are not based on a university, and just playing around with words and doing āresearchā on your freetime.
Your questions are too few and too shallow to provide any meaningful research anyway, unless your true intention is to study the interactions you get from the questions, instead of the questions answers.
Youāre welcome, hard to disagree without arguing on forums thatās true.
I did turned on WM once to help for a hunt, that was fun. My main disappointment was when I was leveling a useless paladin that got gangraped twice, no honor for the Horde ! Poor girl.
Reading these posts makes me want to create a guild to hunt you down and poke the Horde a bit too but not sure Iāll find folks for that
The forsaken need to cannibalize from time to time. Sorry.
Do it! If by any chance you need any tips on how ro run a guild, feel free to pm me. It would be funny to have well-known rivals that would attack Orgrimmar and defend Stormwind. You too could help us make the open world feel dangerous and immersive!
Sounds good, Iāll need some time to think about it and hopefully find a few soldiers for the job ! I got a traitor rogue on the Horde so Iāll try to get some tips from ya
I remember visiting SW as a rogue with my druid pal, those were the day so I totally understand the fun you guys can have.
If you havenāt already, I advise you to check out our youtube channel, where we upload some well-edited videos about our raids in Stormwind. Lots of funny footage to be seen there; and perhaps it would be a good idea for a future guild master to check what consumables we use during world PvP.
You can linkā¦ and linkā¦ and linkā¦ and link the same Official Blizzard statement about ganking yet again, and they will still not read it. They think the are entitled to the 30% WM bonus with no consequenses.
Edit: Just ignore the trolls, Vaeyn. Donāt give them recognition.
I will answer your thread without calling out as has been done.
No, not really. Sounds more like a clusterf*ck than anything else and that is a thing I donāt see being a thing for me.
My identity means something to me, to be me and not just part of the hivemind, not to mention the enforced uniform mog is just a big turn off ngl.
Niche theme sure, but thatās what I consider most RP guilds more so than PvP or PvE guilds.
No, not really. Unless it would have been for RP purposes or just a fun thing like Druids of the Beast who did clear raids with only druids in their guild.
PS. Your āHatedā rep on AD stems more from rude and TOS breaking replies more than the supposed WPvP you do, I am very much in camp āYouāre in WM youāre asking for PvPā, just as I did when I played on PvP realms prior to BfA and rebranding of every realm to PvE/RP-PvE.
Wrong? Maybe. Unethical? Possibly. But it was entirely legal.
And the rest of your post shows that you missed the point.
Itās not about if itās āwithin the rulesā. Itās about it being bad behaviour. Which it is.
This is just another meme post by a group of bored teenagers; itās the same exact pretend internet bully schtick that has been perpetuated ad infinitum by various other bored teenagers since the dawn of the internet.
I would like to thank you for being the most active bumper on this thread, my dear friend! haha
It really means a lot for our visibility, since, as you know, General Discussion has a lot of traffic, a lot of views, and without your constant efforts to keep us at the top and gain more clicks, we would surely fall into obscurity in a matter of hours.
It means a lot for my research. Even if you have declined to answer questions 1 & 2, you are doing more than anyone else from your community to keep people informed about us. haha
